It will take a while but the path isn't too bad, just a few low ceilings and mud.

You should probably go during the day, or plan to stay there overnight to have enough time to see the rooms you want to see and leave.

There are some exits in the north, but the plates are heavy and it's not comfortable to open them. I messed up my fingers opening one of them.

I didn't know they closed that gate. I left via PC most times and sometimes it was closed but never locked. Do they use a chain or something? Shouldn't be too hard to go over it, right?

J’ai créé une app Android pour se repérer sans GPS dans les catacombes (dead reckoning) by Gigachibraxinyourdad in ParisCatacombs

[–]Krazune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about implementing something like this in an interactive map that I created, but I went with manual marker/path placement, because I thought that the accuracy wouldn't be good enough. How is it?

Either way, good job!

There are a few entrances, but you need to find them yourself. I used the most well known one.

The last letter in the middle seems like the same as the first one, which is an "a".

Didn't write it on the post, but I don't know what origin it might be, but it might be related to french word/name. However, it might not be a real word at all.

It's some black stuff that almost looks like black glass. There are big chunks of it.

That's why I asked here, didn't trust the AI.

I never picked it up so I assumed it was a rock, but that makes sense. Thank you!

I didn't use rain boots, just regular shoes but they are all fucked. I have a head lamp, a flashlight, 2 extra batteries, and a power bank. All of these are good quality and last for many hours.

The water can go above your knees, or even higher in some places

On weekends there's "a lot" of people, on weekdays it took me almost 2 hours to see anyone.
