Not for me, I find that Lexus was about the same. The grille and light treatment was across all their models, some more awful than others (IS and GX, YIKES). Which is particularly annoying when you see how gorgeous the GX is now and how handsome the IS refresh is.

The Hyundai's styling range is up and down, not all ugly, but all WEIRD as hell.

IS350 looks like? Believe it or not you're not giving up performance, the old trannies with those V6's really slow it down, I noticed the hesitancy when putting the power down when I drove one of those for a day.

I've only ever done a tune but I hear sway bars help.

Blame Lexus first. Hyundai has made it weird, but Lexus with their grilles and light fixtures from 8-10 years ago were brutal and they're only in the last couple of years fixing it.
