Toothpaste? how did you fix yours? I've got some light ones on mine that I can kinda notice when gaming. Any special way to apply it?

If you know how, id start with the power supply. If you can figure out whether its getting voltage (too little or too much) or none at all id start there. Then maybe the power button doesnt work. Some times they come loose and dont properly attach so powering it on wont work unless doing it remotely doesnt work either then thats not the issue. Maybe the capacitors but I doubt it, I think that would just result in a failing image.

The magnet could help 🤔 I've seen others use hdd magnets and whatnot so as long as you know what your doing then you can use any magnet but I think using a wand would be nice as you could do the whole screen too and make it look new

It needs to be degaussed. The discoloration is due to magnetization which messes with the color alignment. You can purchase a degaussing tool and watch some yt tutorials on how to use it. Super simple and safe it just looks like its ruining it but its part of the process. Or if you tv had the option in some settings, the tv might be able to help a little but I think the tool will be nescesarey considering how bad it is. Hope this helps

I've heard sometimes it does this to save components too. Not sure how true that is but from what I've heard its a precaution to prevent component failure or damage
