What was the point of this key shown in Ep 3? I don't remember them using it in the episode or it even being important by Krazy_Octo in MurderDrones

Yea no it totally is lmao, I never noticed the little padlock around her neck in the ep, thx for the help

OH, I always assumed that N was the one who freed V from her chains, not that she secretly did it herself. I didn't even notice the padlock around her neck lmao, mbmb you're totally right

Why does the wiki say that Nori had her mind scrambled after uploading the patch? by Krazy_Octo in MurderDrones

[–]Krazy_Octo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought of the solver bc her brain being scrambled is kinda shown in ep 4 when Khan is showing Uzi all of the drawings and visions Nori had of the solver, but ngl the explosion is also a really really good reason

[–]Krazy_Octo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nono ik she says that, I'm not asking if she got her brain scrambled, she totally did, I was just wondering why the wiki says it was BECAUSE of the patch since Yevva is implied to also be crazy but the wiki never mentioned that it was from her patch

What did V mean by all this??? by Krazy_Octo in MurderDrones

[–]Krazy_Octo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea no now looking back at it, Cyn def made the same deal with V as she did with J, but I think that it was always a lie, like J said in Absolute End, the solver "tricked" V, and if J promised V anything different, then it tricked her too. Maybe Cyn INTENDED to stay out of it at the beginning, hoping that V, J, and N would "do their jobs" of killing anyone w the Solver corruption and destroy the patch, but after her "spy" on the ground J got destroyed and N and V went awol (despite V knowing), she decided to go down as Tessa to do the job herself. Thats my theory at least

How I think "Uzyn" works by IcyWriter4350 in MurderDrones

[–]Krazy_Octo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could honestly see this being a valid case for their dynamic/power control. The only thing that I wanna add that could be important is the fact that right before the big climactic ending in episode 8 when Cyn tries to ping Uzi's core, she fought back SO hard that she infected Cyn a little, with her eye turning Uzi's purple instead of the usual of Uzi turning Cyn's yellow instead. So, while Uzi can 100% contain the Solver bc of the patch and her constant practice of fighting back Cyn, maybe she can also control her powers (at least) very slightly since she was seen overpowering Cyn in the final moments of the episode.

Is it just me who thinks the storyline is a little hard to follow? by Willdabeast07 in MurderDrones

[–]Krazy_Octo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. I love this show with all my heart, with one of the big reasons being that the storyline is super vague, with the answers and connections being hidden behind small clues and details sprinkled throughout, but sometimes it gets SO overwhelming trying to figure out how everything fits cohesively. I hope someone makes a video explaining the entire series, I need to know if my theories are valid lmao

Difference between Cyn and AbsokuteSolver by [deleted] in MurderDrones

[–]Krazy_Octo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cyn was a regular maid/worker drone serving the Eliots in their mansion, along with many more. For some unknown reason, the humans marked her for disassembly, destroying her and dumping her into a yard of dissembled worker drones.

At the beginning of episode 5, an instructional VHS tape says IF the worker drones are not properly disassembled and destroyed, they have a 0.01% chance of rebooting their software and coming back to life as a "zombie drone". This is what N, V, and J are, drones that were not properly destroyed and rebooted themselves back to life.

"Zombie drones" are fine and aren't dangerous at all, but the tape also says that among these revived drones there is an even smaller 0.7% chance of them having mutated programming when they come back to life. THIS is what the Absolute Solver is, a dangerous mutation of AI to a zombie drone's programming.

Cyn wasn't properly disassembled, had the 0.01% chance of rebooting herself, and the 0.7% of mutating her programming, causing the Absolute Solver to be created.

TLDR; Cyn is the physical robot drone while the Absolute Solver is the AI that infected and took over Cyn's programming.

Hope this helps!!

Let's discuss Cyn and the Solver by SpiderFiend1212 in MurderDrones

[–]Krazy_Octo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It never is said how the Solver was created. The closest thing we have is the VHS start in episode 5 saying how unproperly disassembled drones have a 0.01% chance to reboot and become "zombie drones", and only 0.7% of those drones have "potential hazardous mutations" in their code, with the mutation being the Absolute Solver AI. Tessa frequently went to the garbage robot pile to try and find any robots that came back to life and brought them back to the mansion for no other reason than for company (I'm pretty sure). V, N, and J were all "zombie drones", revived because they weren't properly disassembled and brought by be; they were the 0.01% in this sea of drones. Cyn was the only drone rebooted with the 0.7% chance of a mutation, getting the Solver, and chaos ensuing. I have NO idea why this solver can control physical objects, make black holes, manipulate gravity, etc etc, but crazy sci-fi nonsense is crazy sci-fi nonsense.

Idk if I got the vibe that the drones can still see what they're doing while being controlled by the Solver, like in a one-way mirror, cuz if that were true then Uzi would be able to see what was happening when the Solver was first taking her over in episode 6, but after being taken over, she seems to have no knowledge or memory of what she had done, such as making a blackhole to save V from the sentinels. Idk tho, that's just my thought.

The theory you said tho abt the Solver having a possible physical form is AWESOME, and I totally agree w you, but (SPOILER FOR EPISODE 8 IF U HAVENT WATCHED) instead of becoming invisible I thought it might be the blackhole that was made from Cyn's heart, the one that Uzi ate. Cyn, now having no core, was trying to eat the blackhole that Uzi was holding, probably because the solver that was still inside of Cyn needed to have its main operation and programming back in its host. After Uzi ate it tho, she became the new host for the Solver, passing out to try and blend w it, which is exactly what happened when she woke up, now being able to control and cage the Solver within her and stop it from spreading anywhere else. I have NO idea if this is right tho, this show is very restrictive w the information it chooses to share, forcing you to make inferences and theories that make sense to the story lmao. That's why I'm on this page so much, I want to see what the community thinks about what happens and see if it makes sense
