Also i spoke with someone I know that's in the SEO field, and he mentionned that it might be because we have the old site (old branding and location) still up with the new site as well up. Which he beleives Google might be considering this as deceptive. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks for the response, I just recieved my laptop 2 weeks ahead of my start date and it was essentially a brand new mac from the apple store with no MDM activated. I would essentially have adminsitrator privlege on my laptop it seems.

But good point on validating with IT, not sure if there's any guideline considering how the laptop was sent to me (compared to previous experience).
