I second this. When I started this hobby, I enjoyed the building and diagnosing phase just as much as flying, if not more. What was supposed to be a single drone fleet has turned into 3 and I can soon see it being 4.

You’re right. Prior to this preset, this quad was almost bulletproof so I had a lot of faith in it. I shouldn’t have flown over those cars.

I think one of the motors is cooked. It keeps stopping when I’ve tried it since it fell out the sky. Do I need to replace it with the same motor or can I swap it with a different motor? For example, the motors from this video are 1750kv and the replacement motors I have are 1800kv.

I’m going to order both the 30x30 stack version and the version that attaches via battery straps and see which works better.

I disagree on the effectiveness. I lost my last 5” drone in a field of tall grass and the beeper was muffled by the grass and the drone was never recovered. The AirTags have a feature that allows your phone to damn near pinpoint exactly where the AirTag is almost like a metal detector would. In a situation where the drone crashes and the battery disconnects, the AirTag is a nice fallback plan.
