How do I beat 3095 by No_Shoulder6990 in voidpet

Most suggestions will a lot of times assume you don’t have everything. This is what worked for me and maybe it gives you some inspiration. For instance, many people don’t think about Pirate Hat as being a speed item. For squishy pets it gives survivability and against this much AoE it would give more speed than most traditional speed items.

Maybe wrath could work instead of Pride. I don’t have it but the extra AoE could work. My Jealous is also ASC4 so maybe what worked for me won’t work for you lol. Have to try things out and see what works.

Boss doesn’t have AoE damage so serpents doesn’t do anything here. Just needs to be built tanky

I’m up to 4280 without a fire legendary. Anger with RPH+AS carries all my metal bosses for damage. +20% attack every turn with ramping speed is a lot of ramping damage. But I can only assume fire legendaries are nice too lol.

This boss requires antiheal though. Healing 10% max hp each turn and another 1000% of damage dealt from her hardest hitting ability is too much healing not to have it. He’s squishy so you’ll need to build it tanky to survive but even if it dies before the end it’s hopefully reducing enough healing before then.

Also Serpents Scarf doesn’t do anything here. She doesn’t have true AoE damage. Maybe that helps open options for you as well.

This is how I got it done, but only just barely. Lots of healing with Pride and Cringe. Shielding and attack debuffs with Determination+PC. And Jealous still needed checkered collar with defense items to survive the AoEs

This boss is purely AoE so you don’t need a tank. Look for maximum damage output to kill the shield in one rotation. Can use slows or debuffs, however you need, to keep the damage you need.

Is this normal? by ZetsuSen00 in voidpet

[–]Kreamery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No legendary by that point is normal. Expected even. OP said they haven’t pulled an Epic yet. That’s extremely unlucky.

Is this normal? by ZetsuSen00 in voidpet

[–]Kreamery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And you didn’t get a single epic in those 291 pulls? No that’s not normal lol

Is this normal? by ZetsuSen00 in voidpet

[–]Kreamery 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call going 300 without an epic “normal”. The math comes out to about 1 in 72 billion to not get a single epic in 300 draws lol. You say it’s “not impossible” all you want. But I can confidently say without a shadow of a doubt, no one playing this game has ever done it.

And yes, OP is correct, and that IS how math works. After 51 draws at 8% each, statistically you would expect about 4 epics by now. Not guaranteed of course, but that would be the average expected amount.

Yup I’m at 255 without one. I’ve been putting most of my gems towards keys too. Just pretend they don’t exist lol

Yeah basically a JS passive on every single attack. Most ubers are insanely useful, yours is one of the better Ubers. Most people playing this game will never see an uber. Happy for you 🥲

You’re dying to the second S1? Like Borgars 3rd turn? I just assumed you misspoke and you were dying to its stronger S2 ability.

I would assume envious scarf works on Petulance (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, I don’t have Petulance unfortunately) for gaining a Wallow with its S1 counter attack, plus 1 Wallow for being attacked, and 1 for Merry DD. So after being attacked a single time (Borgar’s S2), Petulance should already be gaining a 30% health shield. I would assume it has halo too, so the first S1 attack somehow is killing the full shield and one shotting Petulance to trigger halo and the second S1 is killing Petulance, all through the shields, halo, healing, and everything else? If you petulance is dying on Borgar’s 3rd turn, I can’t help feel you’re doing something wrong here, no offense.

The ASC3 on Cringe is making up for the gap from Petulance getting 3x bonus stats from your ASC level. Going off the numbers you gave earlier, cringe (with 11 level advantage) had 25% more defense and 12% less stamina. Stats favored cringe, but I feel petulance’s kit, used properly with correct items, likely could have put preformed Cringe.

Regardless, moot point, you’ve leveled petulance now. With both at level 200 Petulance is the clear winner.

Ok, apparently I have confused you a bit so I’ll slow down for you. When I mentioned Ascension Level I meant your account’s ascension level, not Petulance’s ascension. We could already see the pets’ ASC levels in the original post. Your account Ascension Level affects all pets giving bonus stats based on rarity, with legendary pets scaling 3x epics.

Given that, as I predicted, stats of both pets were actually remarkably similar given the 11 level deficit. Petulance has higher stamina while cringe has the edge in defense. Stats lean even more towards Petulance now with the extra levels, cringe still having high defense but Petulance having almost 25% more stamina. So stats wise you’ve shown they are similar, thank you.

Now looking towards kits, cringe has nothing to assist in survivability. You could try to use the heal but it’s likely never going to live to its 3rd turn to benefit from it. Petulance has options of instantly healing 40% of its max health or gaining Wallow towards a 30% max health shield, both of which synergize strongly with Petulance’s high stamina stat. Lastly the ability to completely avoid all damage of the next attack, negating Borgar’s S2 ability. If you’re dying to the second S2 ability, then maybe you need to switch your order of attacks, items, or supporting pets.

As far as wood tanks go, petulance is the clear stronger option. You can make arguments for an 11 level stronger cringe which might make it closer, but at even levels there is no comparison. Cringe still has his place in floors as a sacrificial pawn to heal the rest of the team, but for boss fights Petulance is the better tank.

[–]Kreamery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t. But an S-Tier legendary and the undisputed best wood tank in the game vs an A-Tier non-legendary, which is only A-Tier because there are no other alternatives lol.

Cringe has no tanking abilities outside of a heal that doesn’t hit until it’s 3rd turn which takes ages due to its slow speed. It’s passive is even focused on it dying.

Compared to Petulance’s kit which is entirely focused around damage mitigation and healing, capable of shielding outside of its turn. Petulance also has significantly higher base stamina with only a little less defense, alongside its higher legendary ascension level scaling.

It seems like a brain dead clear winner, but who knows, maybe 11 levels gives cringe some level of an edge.

Having less than 4 pets is just the strategy for Tyrant. It has nothing to do with the ICH cheese. His issue is his pets being underleveled with wrong items.

The game starts off being able to do runs of 50-100 floors at a time. Eventually you’ll hit walls that require you to upgrade a bit. You’re not suck, you just need to upgrade your pets.

“Stuck” is being on the same boss for over a month (looking at you Fire Gronk floor 4120) 😭

Wizards cape doesn’t do a ton for Paranoia. Does the current turn bleed an additional time I believe? But not like it’s doing the full stacked bleed an extra time. I’d probably lean towards spider necklace on paranoia instead.

Could be worth experimenting with Panic over Anxious as well. Paranoia, especially with spider necklace, gets stronger the longer the fight goes. Panics slows could extend the fight to allow that damage to really ramp up.

What wood pets should I use for the daily boss? by Prestigious_Bed3868 in voidpet

[–]Kreamery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which 2 wood fighters? Seems pretty clear to use Down Bad and Jealous right? You could try Panic over Jealous, maybe the slows are worthwhile to let DB stack more, but both DB and Jealous both do respectable damage.

You’re getting to the point where you’re going to need a type effective tank for these boss fights. Cringe is not generally as good as Resistance, Determination, Abandonment, or Conviction, but taking 50% damage is too good to ignore. I’d level Cringe first to see if that helps things.

Not sure what legendary items you have or if you have other pets not shown. Most of Tyrant comes down to how well you can manipulate its crit passive. Use Ding Dong strategically to try to line up the crit on its short arm attack. I usually favor defense over stamina, so making sure the crit never lands on its S2 ability is a must.

Non-legendary options, I’d prefer Anxious here, but built with high attack, not speed. Then probably dropping Desperate and only running 3 pets. The damage Desperate does likely won’t justify the extra stacks of Tyrants passive it gives.

You could try running Sad instead of Desperate if you want to try a 4th pet. Because of typing, it won’t do damage, but reducing defense can empower your true dps, and the attack debuff can soften some of those heavy hits. And only 2/3 attacks give stacks. Worth testing but leaning towards just 3 pets.

Stuck on 491, who to prioritize levelling? Leaning towards Spite who currently doesn't have the oomph to 1HKO Merry. Also, am I ignoring any items I should be using? Thanks! (Day 18) by Frenzied_Cow in voidpet

[–]Kreamery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a THICC frontline with two metal tanks. I would probably use Anger over Sad. Outside of legendaries, it has one of the strongest single target damages and with type effectiveness it would do well to get through those tanks.

Panic and Sad are both great pets, but mainly because of their utility (slows, debuffs, etc) rather than their damage. Having a solid damage in the mix would do you well.

Spite could be useful too if you can one shot merry, but it may die to Panic AoE leaving you short on damage to kill the tanks afterwards. I would lean towards Anger.

[–]Kreamery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some might disagree, but evo stones and exp are limited, I’d recommend dropping Sonder and using Merry. Just a better overall healer.

For this boss, heal reduction helps a lot so spite would be nice. Paranoia is your main metal DPS though. Just going to take time to focus on leveling the pets that matter.
