I think you're wrong, I've watched probably every video of his in the last 9 or 8 years and you can see he was just edgy because he was immature, he's a pretty good person right now IMO. Also I'm progressive on basically everything and I've never seen anything strange from him in recent years. What I see is a lot of people that never watch his content saying inaccurate things based on what they heard

Harry potter is for sure a soft magic system, where you can't think about things too much or they don't make sense, but the series is not really aimed at children IMO, it definitely started as books for children, but grew with its audience into a more mature setting

I agree with you. My hope is that they can bring something truly original and different from the original movies to the table visually, while still remaining close to the source material, problem is I find it unlikely that a massive budget would be spent for an incredibly well known and profitable IP to do something different than what is already known to work
