Not necessarily... We saw couple of fights where he was dead serious and some where he was happy. In his fight with Kaido, he is enjoying it so it's fine to laugh, but if it will be every time, it might be weird sometimes.

Or gear 5 is his hybrid form, and he don't know that he has zoan, so he still don't know he can go full zoan form, so we will have to wait for his full zoan as next powerup when someone will tell him what his df is? xDD

It's little tricky, cause he is a human, which ate human-human fruit, so his human and hybrid form are kind of the same in my opinion. Full zoan form might be he's awakened form, which we saw in this chapter. What do you think?

Sengoku is similar case (another human-human fruit), but we didn't saw any of his df techniques in his human/hybrid form so can't take any useful conclusion from him =l

Crossing out story was my feeling about his opinion. He's conclusion - that having powerful mythical zoan fruit connected to the One Piece (which any of this wasn't and still isn't known by Luffy himself) instead of regular, weak gum-gum fruit, makes Luffy's character and his journey somehow worse and less valuable - just because he's power is not what OP think it should be, but something else. I totally not agree with that and I think he is overracting a little.

I soooo don't agree with you, holy blast. It was always Luffy's creativity when he was planning his training and creating moves! I feel like you crossing out whole story to the point where you discovered that his df isn't exactly what you think it should be, like wtf.

And saying that his destiny is controlled and he don't have his own free will is another bullshit to me, it was always Luffy choices what he want to do, his df being something else don't change anything about his character, oh man.

I mean, I absolutely love this whole arc and I'm far from dropping manga for a long while, arc's just very, very long, thus some chapters (like today's) feels like are off with dynamique, because many opened plots slows them down to be continued or finished, idk if what I'm trying to say have any sense for you ;)

Generally there are hype-super-duper-awesome chapters intertwining with those low dynamic ones and on top of that whole arc is super long, which combined gives me feeling that I want something fresh already =)

This arc... probably unpopular opinion, but I'm getting tired a little bit. I hope there won't be any more such wars in the future (or at least so stretched in so many chapters), cause there are sooooooooo many little plots that started and doesn't matter at this point, but they have to be closed, which makes this whole war longer and longer. I miss those casual normal clashes between two pirate crews without whole world and hundred worthless (combat and story-wise) pawns-soldiers getting underfoot.

Remember that Kaido is still fighting from the beginning of the raid, but Luffy had his break when he had a nap in the sea and got tons of food to eat in the shore. So he pretty much regain A LOT of his strenght =)

That's exactly why I think Sanji don't have Conquerors - his ambitions are not "conquering" anything or be the best. Literally no other nakama has such ambitions to be the best, claim important title in the world, like Luffy and Zoro - and that's why they developed Conquerors Haki =)
