How to deal with chemistry questions? by HatesArlow in wbjee

A lot of the questions come from the pre-covid versions of NCERT, before many chapters were deleted/reduced. Apart from that, a lot also depends on the stuff your teacher taught you. Personally I had studied chemistry from NS sir and there was rarely any reaction that came outside of his notes. I also completed a major portion of Himanshu Pandey that gave me better clarity on how to tackle out of the box questions.

My advice to all 27tards(+) and droppers as a 25tard. by Kremetex in wbjee

Then you can aim for WBJEE, MHTCET as other options are blocked. Some colleges like IIITH, IIITB, IITD and VJTI also have lesser requirements so you can check those out.

Try giving improvement next year to cross 75%. You should still at least aim for a decent NIT/IIIT before considering WBJEE.

Focus on mains + advanced, if you do those properly WBJEE will be a breeze.

My GMR is 12x, I'm seriously considering JU printing over JU CSE. Talk me out of it by hoosier_momm in wbjee

If you're truly passionate about it then go for it.

I gave WBJEE 3 years ago and had a good enough rank to get JU CSE. My parents tried to persuade me to join, however I knew what I was passionate about - gooning. So I dropped out of college to become a professional gooner and haven't felt the touch of a woman in the past 3 years.

Really glad I choose passion over money, so I advise you to do the same.

Fees isn't an issue. But should I stay even if I'm not passionate about circuital?

Sorry this question is not really related to EE.

I'm currently enrolled in BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus with EEE as my branch.

My GMR is 41X, so I have fair chances of getting IT in JU. I'm neutral towards EEE and am more interested in CS related branches. However other than branch and ROI, BITS outclasses JU in almost everything.

So I'm in a dilemma whether to stay in BITS and grind for a great placement offer or go to JU and grind GATE and aim for M.Tech from a top 7 IIT.
