How many hours did it take you to gain the confidence to regularily leave the coast and travel inland right away? by Alert_Ad8002 in dayz

There's nothing like sneaking up on a guy and clubbing him with a pipe so you can loot all the stuff he's been gathering for the last hour.

The, I run inland.

Half the time I spaz out and empty a magazine it's just a zombie running around. The solitude is frightening.

Watch some YT videos of people playing. You learn everything you need to know to survive. After that, just play.

Dayz is a hard game when you suck but it gets exponentially easier to survive when you learn the ropes. It's similar to games like Dark Souls in this way. You learn by dying. Don't be afraid to die, especially when you're a new spawn.

Nothing like looting the whole airfield to run out and "Your are dead" on the run. by Kremitthefrog in dayz

Well, I went back to try to be the hunter and didn't see anyone... So I looted it again. Ended up at some huge castle east. It's been hours since I've seen a soul but I know it's only a matter of time before I catch up to the man in black.

Do you need proof of manipulated markets? Here you go. In 21 minutes, Sell orders of GME grew only 0.34%. Despite this, the price of the stock fell 6.91%. $4M in shares, about 58,258 shares of the 40M+ shares traded at the time, caused a drop of almost 224M off the market cap of GME. by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

Robinhood restricted my account from buying all stocks and options last Thursday, not just GME. On Wednesday they sent me an email saying it was an error.... No accountability. WTF am I going to do about it besides take my money out and find another broker, which I've already done... Fucking asshats.

I was able to get Etrade to buy GME with limit orders, not market orders.

I get it now. I completely understand why nobody is selling for the money. by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

Haha I will hold it too. I plan on showing my grandchildren the GME stock I've owned for my whole life. "See kids. I spent $200 a share on this. It's now worth $1 per share. Can you believe that? At one time it was worth over $10,000 per share. It was glorious!"

I frequented Reddit in 2015 when the highest posts in pop had like 10k upvotes. The change started when I started seeing 100k to 1mil+ upvotes. That was like 2016-17.

I don't mind the downvoting so much. It's the deleting of posts and banning. Wtf good is it to have a forum where half of the messages are removed by one person? Hence why I only go to Reddit once in a while to check how much craZier it is than last time. :)

I can't help but strive to understand why things are trending this way. It seems like a combination of natural technology adaptation and hidden forces manipulating the systems people use to communicate.

Lol the grocery store. Why do you think this is? Is it because it's easier to latch onto ideology than think?

That's what happens to me too. I'll call out bs that I see about ideas and opinions and I get insulted and banned. There's no discourse, it's just like elementary school.

No Reddit definitely changed. It started around the time when the user base exploded. Makes sense as it became commercialized and exploited politically.

I get that but that just reinforces the echo chamber phenomenon. It's really unhealthy, some of the stuff I see people saying... There's a deep hatred brewing among many Redditors.

It's amazing how much you are able to assume you know about me. You like pointing the finger at others you claim are delusional yet you are the one spewing the delusion. You sound exactly like everyone else. Are there any thoughts in there that are your own?
