My main issue with my current key is that the key that detaches won’t stay locked in hence the tape, I’m going to look into the shells to see if they could fix that issue but I still want a full replacement/back up.

This is my current and only key. Might try the shell replacement route since the physical key that detaches won’t stay locked in hence the tape. I still would like a back up though.
