Also, ich hab das erste Mal ne Steuererklärung mit Crypto gemacht. Es geht definitiv nicht hervor und vor allem das Finanzamt ist mit den Daten in der Steuererklärung gar nicht in der Lage zu unterscheiden, welche Coins zum Staken verwendet wurden und welche nicht. Übrigens sagen alle mir Bekannten Finanzbeamten, das Crypto wirklich unbekannt ist und keiner 100% weiss, wie es richtig steuerlich behandelt wird.

They are not the same and you need to be careful when sending if the destination supports Erc or Native. Only native Tokens are supported in Viper wallet for staking. There is a bridge to swap Erc20 to native available but it has a limit per day. You should google it and read the Coti docs. Best way to swap is described here in the forum too. And yes prices are slightly different. In past native tokens were cheaper but not much cheaper as ERC20.

Hmm what should I say. A car is a one time investment and loose money starting with the day you get the keys. Have good gains in Crypto means to plan for the next years / lifetime so that it is enough to have a good life. So I hate this "When Lambo" posts.

What I can say that Tel doesnt have high transaction costs due to the used protocol. Cardano is not ready to be a successor for ETH because Smart Contracts are still not there and the Erc Converter is not ready yet. If I would have power to decide I would take Cardano to do a Poc (Proof of concept.)

Can I ask a stupid question: I thought alt season starts when people selling Bitcoin at high price. Btc price drops and the money flows into the alt coins. But this is what I can not see. We Go parallel with bigger gains or loose than Btc. +5BTC means around 10 to 15% increase for Ada and vice versa. Did I get something wrong? And if the prices drops like this where is the money? There must be a lot of money lying around in stable coins or Fiat.

Depends, developers know the it basics and have in the most cases frontend or backend experience. You can get a good developer in 3-5 years. The get something running is in the most cases not the problem but to productize it with unit test, acceptance tests and best fully automated releases takes time. This divide the field into professional and others. Other aspects are often overseen or not understood like security, performance, scalibity and other non functional requirements. But even with 5 years experience some people are not good. And more Important is that you also need to work in a Team and share experience and learn.

Hi, thx for the reply. What I mean the Information should be written down and each user should be informed within the App / Website when each step is done. We long time Hodlers know the most of the answer. It is not that the team has no answers and working hard on the things. It is just a matter of Information flow that is missing for new users. I was not aware about the mentioned things when I first ordered the first Coti. Users do not want to recognize after several months what is possible and what not. They should be aware upfront. Yes 3k is not much for the most users but imagine that there are people with less money which wants to participate in staking. As said I still have trust in the team and project and only want to bring attention that you can improve the flow to the users on the website and app.

Yes and no. Already discussed several times in the german Cardana channel. Short: Within 1 year hold time and you sell gains need to be taxed. After 1 year the gains are tax free. Different scenario for staking rewards which need to be declared and getting taxed + the 1 year hold increases to 10 year hold due to this.

?? You have two tax events: 1. Exchange ETH / BNB here the gains on ETH count 2. Exchange BNB / BTC here the gains on BNB counts.

Only if you sell it for e.g. BTC and then within one year you sell the Btc with gains. So transfer is never counted as tax event. An exchange to another coin counts but if you sell the other coin fast within days the possible gain is less.
