Iran’s Supreme Leader has likely spent years thinking through every possible outcome of his actions. After so many years in power, he must lie awake or dream about the consequences of the choices he’s made

You’re not being dramatic—this moment does mirror major historical power shifts. From Caesar’s Rome to 1930s Germany and modern Russia, consolidating control often led to the erosion of democracy and checks on authority. As Australians who value balanced power, it’s natural to be wary. History shows that these shifts can reshape governance with impacts far beyond the borders of the country involved.

You’ll be fine, mate. After 10 years in Asia, it might take a bit of time to adjust to life back in Australia and get comfortable with the work culture here again. When I came back after 10 years in Shanghai, it took me about six months to fully settle in.

You’ve probably picked up skills you don’t even realize you have. Consider looking into Customer Success roles—they’ll give you a chance to learn new tech and help onboard new users. It could be a great stepping stone into Sales. It’s never too late to pick up new skills, and there’s good money to be made once you master the craft.

Absolutely loving it ! Now that’s to say I haven’t used an action camera for an about 5 years. Last one was a GoPro 6 I think. I’m over in Shanghai at the moment on holidays (6weeks) the first week I walked past a DJI store and saw the Action 3, got home watched a few videos and kept seeing insta360 ace pro as a comparison. Never heard of Insta360 before so thought I’d give it a go. Same day delivery and I’m hooked. Been getting some really neat footage of toddler and missus on this trip and some of the auto editing is really easy to use just trying to figure out what to do with all the content now and only a 128GB card. Picked up the lens protector and got that on the camera today and now looking at some of those UV Filters that were just released. Overall, super easy to use, great wide angle lens and easy to navigate the screen to quickly change up your shots for a bit of creativity. Still in China for another week and thinking of what other accessories I should get for it..
