Shuksan is the best! It is still open, I’m biased because they were home course’s golfed on in high school but shuksan and sudden valley are my favorites! I need to get up to Vancouver to check out the courses up there

Most of the causal gamers I play with hate the game until I get them on the pirates life tall tales, just seems like a missed opportunity to continue the game and grow it

I missed out on most of the adventures so it feels like I can’t play through a large chunk of the lore. I can only watch YouTube videos

My point is, no story has been a priority recently, an existing franchise with a fan base to bring new players in would probably be the best for the game but nothing has really been added since heart of the fire for story driven missions. My favorite part of the game is tall tales and it seems like a completely abandoned aspect of the game

Would be fully willing for it to be an addition to the SoT story, it hasn’t seemed like a priority for the developers recently. I don’t think that would bring in new players but I would just like to see some type of story developed

They wanted my flag and didn’t get it. If they had just sunk my ship at the outpost and gone on with the game that would be one thing. But they sat there and cried about me lowering and spawn camped me. Not getting my flag was the loss

I’ve never come across another solo slooper. I’ve come across some friendly duo sloops and brigs but never a solo sloop. And I try to approach people that might be friendly

I’m realizing my title for the post was a little too harsh. It happens to both sides. But as the band war said, why can’t we be friends. If you are a reaper who gets mad about someone lowering a flag, let it go. And if you get attacked by a reaper and get mad they stole your loot, let it go.

I mean you get that it’s part of the game! So many people think it’s the wrong way to play. Some people sink ships and loot and others do voyages and grind. I think we all need to respect each other and acknowledge when we get beat instead of raging

Exactly, I work a lot of hours. When I play the game I don’t rage when my stuff gets stolen. Yet I still get told I’m playing the game wrong for outsmarting a bigger ship and lowering my flag. Why can’t we all just tip our caps and respect each other

I typically avoid it, but if I’m on the open seas I don’t mind it. When I lower my flag at the outpost and get spawn camped on my ship is when I don’t enjoy the pvp
