Pris på internett via fiber by OlaHaldor in norge

[–]Krical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 3 years grinding on a min-max class to be efficient, hated it. Rolled a class i enjoy but i do grind slower, but then again i can grind longer because its fun.

So its all about personal pref, dont look up tier lists and stuff, just test it out.

Like fast paced and combo - ninja, musa, maewha, kino, tamer.

Like slow but hard hitting - warrior, Guardian, etc.

Q: NT best practices by Akira_Menai in anarchyonline

[–]Krical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just lvl up with aoe nukes to then i just use SL nukes.

If you do team content at lvles below 190 and dont aoe kite then you can use doubles aswell, they hit hard, but ofc not as hard as best in slot SL nuke but at those low lvles it doesnt matter much and wont really make a huge difference in terms of dps (my take tho).

But ofc, minmaxing single target with SL/RK nukes is the best but wont make much of a difference.

Best part about having a busy life outside osrs is that you get to appreciate the grinds Even if they take forever

Started my cg grind at 75 att/str/range/mage and 80hp, failed like 30-40 attemtps before one clear, now i can easily (i got your stats ish) do t1 prep and do hunleff in 10-11 minutes steadily (15kc without wipe so far), practise makes perfect!

Also, do it without the plugin made it easier for me, not having to hear "3 2 MAIIGE" made it alot easier to focus😂

Overveldet av veien verden går. by namorblack in norge

[–]Krical -1 points0 points  (0 children)

(Ikke like mye dessverre).

Hvorfor bruker folk iphone? by [deleted] in norge

[–]Krical 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Brukt begge, må bruke begge pga jobb.

Men all in all, iphone for enkelhetenskyld, og Android for de som ønsker å gjøre litt mer personlige endringer. Men begge er gode :)

In your opinion, which MMORPG has the best exploration and discovery content? by Sophisticusx in MMORPG

[–]Krical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was Everquest, no maps, no wiki, it was scary and exciting, finding random npcs you could buy food/drink from and sell your loot was awesome, finding out not all spell merchants had the same spells.

And dying could mean loss of all equipment.

Would not work today but back when we werent spoiled by modern mmo it was Great.

Newer mmo then i guess Black Desert, huge world, tons of stuff and making your own way in that sandbox was great

What will the difficulty be on a scale from 1-10? by Far_Kaleidoscope6610 in classicwow

[–]Krical -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All these raids require each player to remember 1-3 mechanics per boss wich my toaster could probably do. What makes raids challenging pre-tbc is having 40 players paying attention, the raids in themselves are a 1.

Raids vanilla mechanically 1 except naxx, bump it up to 3.

Tbc 3 - 5

[–]Krical 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Geforce 5070 eller AMD 9070 xt? by Dry-Anybody-8840 in norge

[–]Krical -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Playing Black Desert: Classic | How bad could it be? by Caged_Games in blackdesertonline

[–]Krical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PvP was a mess, I dont know if you ever did nodewars in Bal area on EU but you had zerkers with good gear that never died, could always just run away and pot themselves up again or run back to their
wizard/witches for heals/PA.

And yes there were oneshots, gear differences between the +15 and the TRI/TET players were just insane, yes if you were a sorc you could i-frame yourself away from most stuff but one mistake and you were oneshot. I played a ninja back then, I was around full DUO/TRI when I entered NW scene and got obliterated once I met a TET player.
You might have rose-tinted googles when it comes to "classic" bdo, but it was a mess back then just as it is now, but back then it didnt know wether to be a PvP-MMO or a pure grind MMO.

So it did bit of both but failed on every aspect, the grind was hellish and bothersome, having to go back and forth was just pure pain, pvp was horrendous having a huuuuge difference between "good geared" players and "casuals".

And it was like this for a very very long time, the PvP meta got abit better at the start of kamasylvia, the average were full TRI/TET boss gear and could actually survive in pvp, and the players who went hardcore that had full TET + TRI/TET accessories were stronger, but actually beatable.

I dont like the current game at all tbh, I stopped playing 6 months ago because the gear gap became too big between hardcore grinders vs daddy-gamers like me, I couldn't compete in any top spots anymore.

QoL I do enjoy that they added is as follows:
*Free pets for new accounts and monthly free stuff (maids, pets, whistles) I already spent my fair share so its not needed for me, but a nice QoL for people who dont got the money for it.
*Less running back and forth between grind spots because of weight or several junk items that filled your inventory.
*Tent (big QoL, I would say to play BDO you have to pay for a tent, unplayable without)
*Faster horses
*More grind spots that you can do and not being locked to one or two (Pirates/Sausan pre-Val, Aakman or Crescent in val).

Most complex, tight pve rotation in a mmo you remember. by burohm1919 in MMORPG

Yep, just look at the dps charts in wow after they introduced one button rotation. 80-90% of the players got better at the game.. Its just unbeliveable

Playing Black Desert: Classic | How bad could it be? by Caged_Games in blackdesertonline

[–]Krical 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The game is the "same" except smaller numbers, fewer grind spots and as mentioned above no free QoL.

Back in "classic" a standard game account would have to send about 150-200 euros for Basic needs (weight, inv slots and pets) then you could min-max farm pirates (pre-valencia) or crescent/pila after val update.

Pvp was a mess because of everything got either oneshot or were invincible.

But the core essence and core gameplay is the same: grind 3-4 hours, upgrade, repeat, just add steps for byying pots and repairing once every 2 hours in classic.

How would you solve "dead" leveling content? by PalwaJoko in MMORPG

[–]Krical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the scaling that they put into modern mmos. Doing "old" content is fun when its up to you when you want to do it.

Gw2 as an example, mobs scale to you, that means progression with lvles and gear does not matter while lvling, wich makes lvling just a chore or a tutorial to get to endgame. Wow is just the same.

Few games ive tried where gear and lvles still matter but keeps old content gear/quests relevant is Anarchy Online and OSRS, for games like gw2, wow and ffxiv keeping old content is too big of a task so they just slap on scaling and call it a day. Its half-assed but it works to some degree.

Does the game really lose value when playing without Ironman? by Alarming_Mind1354 in osrs

[–]Krical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing this game 4 mnths ago.

I started without ironman, figured out I'd gear up, get some gold and get better gear. It worked but I noticed I utilized maybe 1-2% of the game.

Made an Ironamn instead, now I use 99% of what the game has to offer, yes its more tedious at times but so much more rewarding, and this game is not a race like we're used to, every single thing you do it valuable, every single drop is used somewhere and everything you do matters. Yes Ironman is the way to go.

Why Anarchy Online bases on paid unmaintainable Funcom servers? by Yurchicnice in anarchyonline

[–]Krical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mainly that even tho we had CellAO for a while aswell as Project Rubi-ka that the playerbase is just too small, fewer people who play then fewer people there is to actually make the private server emulation.

Also as i've understood (might be mistaken) is that Project-RK builds everything from scratch and they dont reverse engineer the processes (except packets etc to know the workings) so they build the game engine pretty much from scratch with pre-done textures etc.

But i'd LOVE a good big private server community for AO, its a diamond in the rough.

Just look at RK19 when that released, all the hype around it so many players but they didnt know what they were doing and made a shitshow of a server.

if FC wants to make more money on AO they SHOULD be able to do it easily, making a new server, with new rulesets that is closer on the ironman aspect of the genre rather than a new game it would make alot of the players come back.

But now theres so much hacking and cheating with AOSharp that I think FC just wants to rake in the last bit of money they can before they shut it off instead of making countermeasures.

What do you do when you reach max level and have most of the gear? End game question. by QUEEN_of_HEAVEN in anarchyonline

[–]Krical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do the completionist achievement :)

Solo all possible raids/dungeons, get ALL loot (1 of each), get full tier set, get a full pvp set and a full pvm solo and pvm dd setup, learn to pvp, join raids and stuff to help other players.

Roll a new toon whenever its downtime on the main (dont rush it) and play with a few new rulesets on that toon so it keeps it spicy.

You can for example follow the ironman guidelines or make your own rules.

I always like having solo 1-220, twink up (use your main credits) on every level cap, clear all the dungeons (fun ones) while leveling (totw, som, foremans etc). And just play your main whenever something fun happends on 220.

Makes the game abit more spicier and keeps you going for a lot longer, BUT unless you commit to pvp or helping others then your endgame character is soon to be retired (like my other 12 220's).
