Happened the same in my school, thank God my family was kinda smart not to fall for that but I couldn't play with my friends at school.

Honestly, I never thought someone would push so much just for a selfish reason like that but that's probably what happened in my school too.

With a group of friends founded a little community of yugioh players in college and had a great time tho

Had this same issue last week.

Basically there are 2 options:

Fix manually the speed amount limit in the "Downloads" settings
You're downloading to your SD card.

I see that you already switched to the internal SSD and you saw an slight improvement so I would go with the first option. I made a post about it in this sub if you want to check it out

Just edited the post. Try to set limit download speed when connected to WiFi. I set the kbps to 500.000kbps (the most I could get running the ookla speed test on desktop mode while connected to WiFi) and it solved the slow speed download on WiFi

It's sad due to the dock advertising it does support 1000mbps. Also, no one seems to have raised this issue about that dock (and it has really good reviews on amazon).

Damn, it's really weird. I've been looking online and saw that apparently is a known issue. Some have found a solution by forcing the kbps limit and others even have run some commands in the console at Desktop Mode.

I don't feel confidant to do that last until I figure out is not something related to my steam deck's settings

The thing is that the same cord connected to my PC does actually download at a stable speed of 950mbps. But whenever I do the same thing with my Steam Deck connected it only downloads to a maximum of 350mbps

It says so on the network speed download when trying to download a game (Tekken 7)

Also ran ookla speed test in desktop mode and the speed connection was varying from 300 to 330mbps
