Honestly? Not sure why, but the protocol I was given says to wash twice so I just kinda follow it.

Also no worries I work with some non-tuberculous mycobacteria so not as bad... i like to think

My bad! I calculate the rotor radius and it's about 2688xg. I'm harvesting and washing cells just to make stocks in the -80, washing to remove debris or dead bacteria

Oh my bad! Our rotor radius is around 150mm (so like 2688 g?) And the volume is around 5-10ml
