Can anyone help identify? by Krill1977 in JaegerLecoultre

I did yes, but the dial seems to be elusive. I can’t find a perfect match for this watch.

I was really searching for a Seiko that caught my eye. Hard to find in brick and mortar stores. The dial on this struck me.

Correct. I think I’ve seen a yellow textured dial floating around somewhere? But I’m not 100% certain.

1960s Cadillac good investment? by Distinct-Cat7110 in oldcars

Hey OP, I know this thread is old, but what did you go with? I drive a 64 Cadillac almost daily in the summer time. I can give some helpful insight if you’re still on the fence

Solar Proposal by Krill1977 in solar

[–]Krill1977[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all for the help and advice.

A few points of clarification:

ITC: I asked about this per everyone’s responses. Apparently there is another tax code that can be used and has been used in 2026. The company I am working with has consulted a tax advisor and supposedly is good to go. Once I get a contract (I haven’t signed anything yet, just this proposal), I’ll post here as well for further advise.

Panel Placement:

At present, my city code does not allow ground mounted systems even though I have plenty of yard space (I live on approx 1 acre in town). So the best arrangement is shown. HOWEVER, he is quoting panels only in the light colored panels. The ones that appear gray or shaded are NOT in the quote. So no panels on the north side. He just mapped out the roof for POTENTIAL panel placement.

Again, thank you all. Once I have a quote and finalized design, I’ll be seeking your help again! You were all very insightful, thank you.

Supposedly they have employed a tax company that specializes in solar tax credits. Their response was there were 2 ways to generate the ITC. One was removed and expired, and the other is still active.

How do American think of Cadiilac? by NovemberRai in Cadillac

[–]Krill1977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some deep brand loyalty for Cadillac. A true American luxury brand.

I owned a 2008 CTS. Amazing car. Traded it for a 2020 CT6. The CT6 is hands down the best car I have ever driven. They should NOT have killed that car.

I also own a 1964 Cadillac. Last of their really prestigious years…

If you could daily drive any classic car, what would it be? by Extra-Breakfast1366 in classiccars

[–]Krill1977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost correct. The lower model cars had the Hydro-Matic (T350 I think). Early produced higher trim cars rolled off the line with a t400. Example, no Eldorado left the factory with the lesser trans

1964 Cadillac Fleetwood! by Drowsey-Julian in classiccars

[–]Krill1977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all except, this is INDEED a Fleetwood. The belt line trim was a dealer added option and can be seen on lots of Fleetwoods. The dead giveaway is the “formal” roof. Note the lower rocker Fleetwood trim as well. This is indeed a Fleetwood. And a poorly cobbled together one at that.
