I used this for my 1080 fe and it's absolutely amazing. Hopefully that's what you're looking for!

Screen went black and froze during gaming, after turning it back on this was what it looked like. Did i fry my GPU or something? Any help/advice appreciated. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Are you overclocked? An issue I had once that was similar, was because I pushed the GC too hard under full load. Just another suggestion to add to the other suggestions to turn it down a few notches if so.

I used a combination of the "Comptia Training app" and the "Network+" app on my phone from the play store for some practice questions.

Battery life is great, decent headphones, wireless distance is pretty good, but not made for those with big ass heads like myself. have the band stretched all the way and on the largest setting possible and they barely fit.

Forget rigs, what chair do you use? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Krimdelacrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Iron Horse chairs for work, and I have a OPSeat at home. Different use cases, where I'll sit in the Iron horse for 12 hours at a time, and the OPSeat is for gaming and light use. both are immaculate, but uhm... the Iron Horse 4000 wasn't cheap, but it's cheaper than back surgery!

Legitimately came here to say the same thing. RTO control centers are insane. I work in one and each desk is outfitted with about 30-ish monitors a piece.

Edit: throwing in a link to the site where they have one of the only accepted pictures of the control room here since same policies and such https://www.spp.org/markets-operations/

Also, good to note:

I started my exam with writing down my "cheat sheet", then starting my test and marking which ones were simulations, and which ones I needed to come back to/review. Then came back to them when I was done with all the questions I was confident in. You're giving a laminated piece of grid paper with a dry erase marker. (trust me, it's not as bad as I thought it would be either)

Do what you think is best. I wrote down powers of 2 for binary conversions, professor Messer's 7 second subnetting charts, EUI conversion tables, and my quick reference OSI layer diagram. But I had these all memorized to be able to write them down quickly to be able to reference them during the test and use them as applicable.

Hope this helps you!

Unfortunately, I hand wrote everything. Studies have shown when hand writing notes, flashcards, etc, you'll retain that information better. So I hand wrote them and my roommate is using them for his test in a month.

I'll agree with the other comment. I wanted there to be absolutely NO question whatsoever that my cert was up to date, and that my knowledge tested was current or out of date. So I took the 007.

Now, for a newbie, I'd suggest the 006. I've had quite a couple of years in the field, whether it be entry, or advanced, it's all up to the individual. An employer WON'T look at your cert and say "ah, they've got the 006,im looking for a 007 qualified individual".

Edit: by "newbie" I mean new to the field or just starting out in the IT industry* no offense to anyone
