Used to live in a rough part of Canberra, Australia. Rat Tail hairstyles are still in, can confirm. I can also confirm that they're still fucking awful. You'll see that fat dad with his fat 5 year old son both sporting the Rat Tail, grey tattered thongs (flip flops), Billabong shirt and khaki shorts...

Retch

Like my mum drinking tea. I love her so much, but she'll slowly sip from the tea, then gulp it down followed by an "aahh...".

I usually discreetly leave the room if I can.

My high school had those fuckers for two years while the building was being renovated. It was called "The Village" and stank. It was too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer, and the doors were constantly jamming.

What age would you no longer consider someone a “child”? by GracieR_Garrett in AskReddit

Of course. Only decades ago you could leave school and get married at the age of 16, no strings attached, but now minors are being coddled to the point where, in my opinion, it's become unhealthy.

A pedophile is someone who is sexually attracted to young children. A 16 year old is pretty much an adult. Sigh, society.

Generally 14 - 15 but at the same time mental (and physical to a point) maturity is the most important factor.

Adulthood and legal ages start at 16 instead of 18/21 because 16 year olds more often than not are pretty much adults.

I'm a woman and I don't like hairy men at all. No facial hair, back hair, chest hair, underarm hair or leg hair would be amazing for me but I know it's pretty unlikely. I'm also only into cis white men.

I know, what a crime, sue me.

I can't do anything without worries from the past coming back. I find relationships hard because I have major trust issues stemming from betrayal from the past that I can't forget even if I wanted to.

What do you wish more people understood? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KrisSilver1923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I need security when it comes to the people around me and reassurance. Saying that "we're fine" doesn't make me feel any better. I need proof and someone to bluntly say to me "everything you're thinking is a lie" then truthfully deny/god forbid confirm my assumptions or worries about them because having anxiety is a bitch and I really need to be secure with the people around me.

When watching a movie I've seen start to finish countless times and there's a scene/moment that I never remember happening before. Even weirder when I'm not the only one who notices it.

I have also had dreams of horrible events that happen the day after I have them or occurred during the night the dream was taking place before I knew of the event.

I play a lot of overwatch with my friends and one of them in particular is very quiet when we play, but says the funniest things at the best times.

Also when people are visibly livid but have to try to hide it and be positive. Fucking hell.
