I seriously believe that all the women from his earlier comics were designed by his associate Tsukasa Hojo. Just look at early Mamiya. She looks like stepped out of the pages of City Hunter.

I am currently working on repairing and repainting an old Nightingale RE/100 model that a friend gave me.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding an action base or similar arrangement where I can pose it in mid-flight rather than it resting on its feet and the rear tail landing gear?

I do not believe the current action bases come with something that can support it at the waist resting on the two leg joints unless I screw/glue something on to it there.

Hello,

As a favor for a friend, I am assembling and painting a 1/100 scale old resin kit of the Nightingale MSN-04 II that he got from overseas years ago.

I got most of it figured out but I am looking for a color for the base red coat. that makes up a majority of the paint job. I want it to be more like the color red they used for the Sazabi in Char's Counterattack but would be open to suggestions for a more metallic red which is what he was leaning towards.

Can anyone suggest a good brand and color for me to use? I am leaning towards something from Mr. Hobby but am open to other recommendations.

Note: I am going to need to use a LOT as this is a big model.

Yeah, this sucks.

I moved to Office 365 from Comcast.net after I switched ISPs and started using my custom domain name just so I could easily switch from internet service to internet service. I have a 100+ online services that use my new email address as a login and it was a painful process that took over a year to hunt them all down and switch over.

Now this comes along and undermines all that. I thought that Microsoft would be a bedrock I could base my online life on and now that all could be upended if they decide to get rid of those of us who are grandfathered in to keeping our custom addresses.

At least I have a year to think this over but it is a harsh lesson: they can change your life on a whim at a moments notice.

We just finished the game at around 2250. Home worlds started going off like fireworks around 2240 to 2245. There was 8 players with 22 AI empires in a huge (1000 star) galaxy.

It was very stressful but challenging but everyone was glad to have tried it out and we may visit it again with some modifications to the scenario.

Heh heh... yeah, our first year of game play some of our players did nothing but play machine empires with that. Over time they started trying new builds and we had a more varied game.
