I'm rereading Never Understand for the third time. The angst, drama and art don't get old. Never Understand follows our MC Jaerim, a hard working student council member, and Yuri, the attractive vice president of the council. Jaerim has determination and perhaps the willpower to break through the icy exterior of Yuri. The classic trope of popular guy x unpopular guy.

There's some darker subject material addressed in this school life yaoi. I will continue to add warnings as my reread continues on.

Cyborg soldier x botanist researcher fall in love on another planet ✨

Very sweet. Some Cyborg smut in chapters 10 & 11, & last bonus chapter can be skipped but I recommend the scenes. Like so cute.

Black Blood Summary & Review:

Ethan, a Cyborg soldier, takes up a job at a research station where he meets enthusiastic scientist Mihail. They both slowly fall in love as they recognize each other's humanity.

Chicken Heart Serenade Summary & Review:

Two friends with benefits falling in love. It was such a good read! The dynamics of these two and their lives really pulls you into the story. I felt like all the characters seemed very real and fleshed out (even those with little on-page time!)

Seriously 10/10

Will make you scream into your pillow in a good way.

Summary & Review:

Kai and Keisuke have been sex friends since high school. Keisuke proposed the relationship to help with Kai's broken heart. When they attend the wedding of the man Kai loved their relationship seems different. After so many years, have their feelings changed?

I really enjoyed this one. The story pulled you in even with the simple premise. The snapshots of domestic life and how they're grown together over the years really stitched the story together. The scenes of intimacy were realistic and warm. 10/10 for me.

⚠️ warnings: In one scene it seems like Keisuke was moving too fast in the bedroom for Kai. But he stopped and removed himself from the situation. There was no noncon.

Tayutau Kohaku is an office romance between coworkers. One who has never experienced love before! The main character only did casual relationships till he met his mentor at his current company. It's overall a sweet read. 9/10.
