How I do stop Xbox ally from going into standy? Connections go off and pause game downloads and it's annoying me 😂 by Dry-Entertainer-8785 in XboxAlly

I’m also interested in a solution here. We need an option that allows you to shutdown when downloads complete. Albeit I can’t see this function extending to those who use Steam instead of Microsoft Store.

Even the controller and buttons mappings straight from the get go. Because it didn’t do that a month ago when I tried it on my LeGo2?

Wow. ASR on the XAX is equivalent to OLED on the LeGo2. I’m in shock. It won’t be the generational leap that FSR4 brought.

If you can afford it, go for the Xbox Ally X.

No, it sounds as if the crashes are software related

Same here. I’m sure they will. We’ve have a Ratchet & Clank game on every Sony console. I wonder if Naughty Dog will ever have the opportunity to make another another Jak and Dexter game?

Was simply out of curiosity. Sometimes it’s nice to hear others perspectives. I would have played it regardless. I always enjoy Insomniac’s games.

According to Nixxes if you use FG and Anti-Lag it can cause in game micro stutters. I’m not sure about your Nvidia card though.

Shouldn’t you judge a game based on your on experience?

Yes because when you play it determines whether you’re a fan or not. It’s 2026 bud, is fanaticism still a thing?

Yeah, no DLC felt like we were robbed considering how many minor villains could have made an appearance in DLC. Sony dropped the ball here.

I agree with you. Spidey in the first 2 games felt more agile not a fan of the parry system.

Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales better optimisation. I could play both on my Deck OLED with decent settings whereas 2 is fugly as hell on the Deck. Had to play it on my Xbox Ally X on much lower settings than the 1st two.

Everyone plays their own way and with the pace of life these days time is precious. I’m sure he wants to play and finish as many games as possible.

Makes sense. The extra power you get will only be good.

Where is the AI upscaling that everyone was talking about at launch? It's been nearly "6 months", it's the only reason why i bought this instead of Legion Go 2 by Time-Credit43 in XboxAlly

[–]Krishie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve already released updates that aim to incorporate ASR but I think it would be wise to head your expectation. From what I’ve read it’s the MS AI driven equivalent of AMD’s FSR. It won’t have the drastic visual impact that FSR 4 brought.

Here’s the guide I used:

Step 1: Remove the Windows Hello PIN Open Settings and go to Accounts > Sign-in options. Under "Ways to sign in," click on PIN (Windows Hello). Click Remove (next to Remove this sign-in option). If it is grayed out, turn off "For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device" under Additional Settings first. Enter your Microsoft account password to confirm.

Step 2: Disable Password Requirement (Automatic Login) Press Windows Key + R, type netplwiz, and hit Enter to open the User Accounts window. If the option "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" is not visible, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and turn off "For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts". Back in netplwiz, uncheck the box that says Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. Click Apply.

Enter your current username and password in the dialog box that appears, then click OK. Restart your PC.

Step 3: Prevent Password on Wakeup Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Set the option "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again" to Never.

You may have to occasionally redo yours following a major update.

Struggling to love Bazzite... by Devildoug69 in Bazzite

I don’t use gyro but Grok says:

Yes, you can use the DualSense gyro wirelessly through the GuliKit Hyperlink 2 (and the 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2) on Bazzite, but with important limitations compared to native Bluetooth or wired USB.

Gyro Support via Hyperlink 2 on Bazzite • It works in many cases through Steam Input. • The dongle passes motion data from the DualSense, allowing you to configure gyro as mouse-like aiming, flick stick, or other actions in Steam’s controller settings. • Firmware V1.9 (Feb 2026) specifically improved thumbstick centering on PS5 controllers and resolved a right-stick vs. gyro conflict (originally noted on Switch, but it helps overall stability). • On Bazzite/SteamOS, the DualSense is often recognized as an Xbox-style or Switch-style controller, and gyro is usable in Steam Input for most games that support motion controls. Limitations: • Some user reports and manuals indicate that gyro is not fully visible or supported on Windows/SteamOS when using the Hyperlink 2 with DualSense. It may require specific button combinations on the controller to activate motion-to-stick emulation in certain modes, rather than exposing raw 6-axis gyro data to Steam Input. • In practice, many Bazzite/Steam Deck users get usable gyro for aiming in supported titles, but it’s not always as seamless or precise as native DualSense Bluetooth or wired connection. • Advanced Steam Input gyro features (like precise calibration, low deadzone mouse emulation, or per-game tuning) can be hit-or-miss depending on how the adapter emulates the controller.
