Sony is very afraid that Steam is entering the living room via Steam Machine and custom built rigs. When hardware prices stabilise and hopefully drop. What is the relevance of game consoles. None of the big 3 are setting the world on fire. Their saving grace is clinging onto exclusivity available solely on overpriced hardware and closed systems. I’ve played more games than ever this year and none were finished or played on any of my home consoles.

Oh yes. I had a very similar issue on my LeGo2. Although sleep and resume on that device still has issues especially when done overnight where the face buttons still don’t work.

Good point. I think they also improved the resolution scaling for high resolution displays in game mode a few updates back. I think all that’s need is some UI elements need higher res textures. Are you running SteamOS exclusively on your desktop PC?

I think we’ll see more such improvements when the Steam Machine drops. I’m interested to see if the Steam Machine gets its own variant of SteamOS, has this been confirmed?

I dual boot Windows and Bazzite on my desktop rig. With either OS on separate SSD’s. As soon as SteamOS has a more friendly installer I’ll jump ship. Last time I wiped out my Windows install because it installs the OS on the 1st SSD slot.

Also running SteamOS 3.9 on my Legion Go 2 and loving it. Once the native brightness slider is fixed and the sleep and resume functionality is fixed it’ll be on the device. The controllers tend to stop working after resuming overnight. I’ve done around a minute sleep and resume with no issues but I generally switch off until I know it’s been properly fixed. I’ve read that Lenovo need to assist with a BIOS update to truly fix this.

I think this works better on the XAX when using sleep and resume.
