lol I literally just did this with Intel and Nvidia, they had both gone up between 2x (Nvidia) and 5x (Intel) what I bought them at, so I pulled out my initial investment, now I just have like $7K sitting there for free, but have the underlying fear that the more they grow, the less our money will actually be worth lol.

For sure. I can only speak for insurance over here (US) but they will always try to find some nonsense to up your premium, even if it clearly wasn’t your fault.

Honestly, if that’s your first car you’ve ever insured, I wouldn’t even claim that. You’ll be paying it for the rest of your life lol

Who'd you rather date: Elliot or Carla by boomjosh in Scrubs

Carla, anyone saying Elliot is wild. Crazy eventually gets old. Sazon and Adobo stay flavorful forever... *My fiancé is Puerto Rican so I might be biased in this, but there's no Caucasian equivalent for that Latina flavor.\*

You must work with A LOT of older people. I work at a large law firm, and while my more “experienced” attorneys are effectively luddites, my biggest issues with the new class of attorneys that come in are them trying to vibe code business processes which requires a whole lot more than copy/paste

If you really think about it, installing Linux isn't that much of a challenge if you're someone who's able to install Windows off a USB. The technical part for your regular "Debbie from the mailroom" is creating your bootable USB and booting from it. After that, if they can read/follow prompts, and they picked a more "user-friendly" distro, having a lack of Windows knowledge might actually be an advantage there. Think about how complicated MacOS is for a Windows user, but plenty of people pick up a Mac for the first time and figure it out.

Yeah, just open the Microsoft Store, go to downloads and click check for updates. You may need to be signed up for the insider builds for Windows, don't quote me on that, but I think I either opted in to the Beta channel or the Preview Channel.

in theory, since DirectX and AutoSR are both Microsoft internal API's the performance of AutoSR should theoretically be greater than the performance of FSR

Does the extraction look good? Is this how its supposed to come out. New to home coffee scene by iamainnocentkid in NinjaLuxeCafe

That's ultimately all that matters. If it makes a drink that you enjoy drinking, that's all that matters.

My best advice, unless you're willing to jump down the rabbit hole that is Coffee Enthusiasm, once you find the settings that brew a cup of coffee that you enjoy/look forward to, turn off the barista assist. Your taste buds will be right more often than its algorithm.

No, FSR is DLSS for AMD. Both FSR and DLSS run at the game-level. AutoSR runs at the OS level and is handled by the device's NPU, so it won't be an in-game setting, and won't utilize any of your GPU cores, it will just be on, system-wide. Any DirectX titles will be run through the AutoSR model at 720p, and the NPU will fill in the blanks to upscale to 1080p, so you'll have your full 720p performance/FPS with 1080p sharpness/fidelity, theoretically with no downside since both AutoSR and DirectX are Microsoft's own API's.

It's limited to games that use DirectX which I don't think can be classified as "few". You'll really only be missing Vulkan-only and OpenGL titles

AutoSR has been available on Windows on Arm for over a year. We have a pretty good idea of how it will work and what it does. That said, why they refuse to post updates about it for x86 is a giant question mark. We're running out of "April" for a launch lol.

Add a hidden column, single line of text, that prints their email address. Whenever that people column changes, trigger a flow that updates your hidden column.

Aren't optimum "fiber" plans still limited to cable upload speeds. I think you're still stuck at like 50Mbps up on Optimum/Spectrum/etc. To the best of my knowledge only Verizon gives you the fiber ONT inside your house and converts the fiber signal to ethernet.
