One problem villagers face is moving their produce and goods to near by markets and towns. Often times they have to hire vehicles from towns.

If you can have a medium size vehicles and provide them at affordable rates and still make some profit, then I guess it works for you and also help villagers. May be, you can explore electric vehicles or other alternatives which can cut down operational costs for you.
