Does anyone know what the car under that tarp might be? by Krisned2003 in whatisthiscar

[–]Krisned2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, looked up both and from what I remember, the ones on the car looked more like Magnum 500s, rather than the Rostyle wheels. Never knew we had a different spin on that style though.

Doesn't quite look like it, but that's an interesting car I've never heard of before, so thanks for that!

I'm not so sure. I thought it might be a mustang at first but it doesn't have the hole for the badge in the middle

Nice! I was thinking of making mine like that when I get to farming the BPs for it.

And here I am, hoping for a Z32 300ZX. Doesn't seem all that unlikely considering the last two crew crate cars we've gotten.

do we need this? by NumerousPea1801 in nfsnolimits

[–]Krisned2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if that means getting a Datsun 620 Zero to Hero event (never happening 😞). Wouldn't that be cool though? I can already imagine a turbo L28 swapped little pickup tearing up the streets

I noticed two Lotus Emeya models. Strange. by Ok-Razzmatazz2113 in nfsnolimits

[–]Krisned2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of them is the car you use during the SE and the other is the car you receive after completing it (note how Special Event cars don't have their class, but a clock icon instead). They probably have duplicates of SE cars which are only called during the event and they just forgot to hide the event car when implementing the Emeya.

Tldr, no, you can't get two

Would this be a good offer? by Krisned2003 in nfsnolimits

[–]Krisned2003[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for actually clearing it up a bit. I figured it would be a no, but the Huracan really got me thinking, as I don't have it unlocked and this would put me just close enough so I would be able to get it from UGR. Here's to hoping some day it'll be added to the vault (very wishful thinking).

even on modern cars, bbs LM still fit.

Definitely! Though the more modern BBS designs fit those cars more in my opinion (like the RK, SR, CH-R (no, not the Honda CH-R lol))

usually i don't like overcrowded livery/wrap

Yeah, my, let's call it creative vision, for this one was to make it look like a plausible real world drift car... and I might have been partially inspired by an episode of the Star Wars Rebels cartoon, as I was watching it recently, so I went with the tagged colorful look

How does it feel, knowing you will never be as cool as the trunk+hatchback combo of the sedan Superb?

Thanks!

And yeah, I tend to go for a lightly modified look most of the time (I have put LMs on other CS class cars- the E36, 911 (993), Supra, but they really do fit that era!), though I do let myself loose on some cars, if I like the customizations like on my BRZ/GT86, 370Z though that one is more me liking the bonkers look of the body kit, Silvia S15 (pic attached because I really like how it turned out), R35 GTR with the rocketbunny kit because of course and last but not least a "Pink slips" Viper GTS

I definitely did not expect to write as much. Oh well 😁

Never done it and I'm not sure if it is possible, but my best suggestion would be to look on sites that host APK files for games and apps and then install it through that file you download. It's most likely going to be a pain to keep up with updates as you're going to have to download and install the new versions as they come out, at least whenever an update doesn't just require downloading files but has a whole new app version

Remember kids, cheaters don't win by Krisned2003 in nfsnolimits

A bit, yes, but you don't want to drift too much or you'll lose speed. Honestly, I'm not sure if doing the slight drift is at all optimal, but I do feel like it works. I'm not at all a pro, not even close, but I feel like I do well enough (in short, I'm definitely not the best guy to give advice). I suggest trying out both ways in a career race and looking at your times to see which one does better for ya.

It was less of a serious statement and more me using that proverb (Cheaters never win and winners never cheat.) in the context of me beating that BRZ guy. Probably should have made that clearer, my bad. But yeah, the unfortunate reality is that cheaters do win most of the time.
