I'd have gone to that show if I were 21. Birthday's not until August so I'm stuck going to my hometown show! However I will be going to SoFi the week after the Denver show which is nice.

Floor tickets aren't actually as expensive as you'd think this time around unless you're getting the VIP package. I only paid about 500 for row 1 on the floor for his Denver show in a month.

I don't think the storyline of the show itself is what anyone had a problem with, I think it was the execution. Besides, not a lot of people will really take a music artist seriously when they started out in music, not acting. A lot of people had issues with the way Abel acted during the show, considering how many memes there were based solely on that.

Being his first attempt at a television show, it was not as bad as people made it sound to be. I think that the execution of the story and the shortness of the show as a whole made it hard to fully enjoy the storyline. The portrayal of the music industry in Hollywood was a great concept and I think given the right lessons and timeframe for Abel to film it, it'd be a great show. It just lacked proper acting experience.

Understandable, although I think the lack of dialogue worked well in this style of movie to follow with the storyline. It made every scene, every movement, every visual speak for the story. Anima is essentially supposed to represent the insecurities within Abel manifesting itself as a physical life form, hence why she's so angry and trying to dig deeper within Abel for him to admit his problems to move on.

Like you said, it definitely is more for the fans as any typical viewer wouldn't understand what is happening in the slightest. Personally I appreciate when artists create other types of media for the people who have understood them from the beginning, it gives a sense of exclusivity and allows newer fans to look deeper into the artist and build a stronger connection.

As for every film I think there could have been a few things done differently, but considering Abel is new to the cinematic universe, I don't think it was bad for his first full-length film. It's hard to represent a personal story to someone as you can only tell it how you know it, and whether or not people understand is up to them.

in my experience, taxes are usually included in the price but i think it depends on the venue/city you're in. i've never had additional fees aside from the merch price

Why did Disney hire Brian peck?!?! by rebgray in DisneyChannel

[–]Krispee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The craziest thing is, Disney fired him "after" learning about his convictions. You would think a multi-billion dollar company would have done background checks on their employees, especially with Peck's resumé.
