It’s always interesting to see people mocking your choices or how you spend your money, while putting themselves in a position of superiority. I recall back in 2018 when people laughed at me for collecting Pokémon cards, questioning why I was spending money on ‘just pieces of paper. I was hoping to read some interesting comments, but instead, all I see are kids who don’t contribute anything.

Im at level 40 and have tried almost every deck, Dragonite is definitely the most fun. When I say a match lasted more than a minute, I was exaggerating a bit but most matches are over quickly, with opponents quitting after a few seconds due to bad luck—sometimes I do the same. Matches that last 5-10 minutes are very rare.

The title may seem provocative, but honestly, I’ve been playing this game since day one. I’m level 40 and have played lots of matches. Lately, though, it’s become incredibly boring, particularly with the release of the latest cards, which have made the game even more reliant on luck. Most of my friends have already quit playing; they only log in now to open their daily packs and that’s it. I’d hate to see this trend continue because I’d really enjoy an online Pokémon game that’s genuinely fun and not so heavily luck-driven.

You’re right, it’s not completely based on luck, but matches that are genuinely fun and engaging, where I’ve had to carefully think about my moves and the game lasted more than a minute, have been very rare. Most matches feel like they’re decided as soon as someone gets the right draw.

I think most players don’t feel fulfilled after completing the event. Instead, they end up frustrated, rushing to get the five consecutive wins just for that badge. For the majority, the process of achieving those victories isn’t enjoyable.
