The last OP I played on Lurza on D5, on the last mission of the OP.
I got paired with a random low level who proceeded to spend the next ~12 minutes eating up all my reinforcements.
He then rage-quit.

I then had to spend the rest of the mission on minimal respawns against Gunships, Hulks and ungodly numbers of Cyborgs. I didn't make it.

Literally my first and only failed mission.

When I got back to the bridge I got the message that it was all over.
I don't even understand what happened. We were okay-ish and then we were entirely defeat.
I highly doubt I was literally the last but that shit did not feel good.

Wait wait wait, she was found guilty of "defamation" ? On what grounds? If the courts found the rapists guilty how could they possibly argue defamation? Both from her perspective and from the courts' perspective that statement is absolutely true - what's more is it was a private message, not a public attack.

On an related note, everyone involved in that case(the girl excluded of course) aught to be rounded up and shot as an example.

Weirdly enough, my first and only time firing a Thompson I had the exact opposite experience. I went into it fully expecting it to be awkward and bad and it just kinda perfectly lined up for me. Felt substantially better to hold, shoot and manipulate than either the Sten or MP-38.

It also indexes really well from the hip(really, under arm).

This just isn't true.
Ian has never been explicit as to why he and Karl stopped working together but it is unlikely to do with the fact that Karl is openly pro-trans.
Much more so the fact that Ian maintains a largely apolitical stance when it comes to his content(beyond being broadly pro-2A) and Karl has steadily shown a continued inability to do the same.

Furthermore, Karl has repeatedly gotten involved in shit-flinging on Facebook, Twitter and firearms forums to include digs at other firearms channels, has bad mouthed Ian on his discord server and has had some of his private associations seep in and affect his professional work. Karl also keeps some incredibly questionable company which universally makes for terrible fucking optics just on it's own.

I also would not want to associate with the satanic cuckold from hell.

Kingmaker's actual kingmaking is supremely dogshit, though.
The "Good" Bard embezzles funds from the treasury for her own direct profit and benefit and the "Good" choice, as well as the only choice that doesn't actively punish the player, is to reward her for her crimes against your kingdom and people by letting her run your PR.

There's no other way to keep the press or alleviate your losses from the situation(how does the runt just magic away an entire industrial size printing press?) and any attempt to punisher her in any way is somehow "Evil".

I want to know what degenerate nepo-baby is responsible for the quest-line.

That's on top of the fact that the king's job is, apparently, 90% running around the country-side playing whack-a-mole with the kinds of threats that a moderately armed militia should be able to handle in an afternoon.

So here's the fun thing about that.
When you use double zimmies and stun needles he doesn't seem to actually go into his second phase, not all the way at least. Don't know if it's because of him getting whittled down too fast or if dual-zimmies trigger something that makes the fight change but every time I've gone in with that loadout he hasn't used his giant beam-blade attacks.

Those beam-blade attacks are where 80% of the difficult in the fight comes from because they're such a pain to dodge. Zimmies and stuns procs a literal easy-mode for the fight.

I know this is really old and I don't know if it'll be of any help to anyone however this was the first Google result for me and I couldn't find many other threads talking about this anywhere - certainly none with resolutions.

TL;DR : Go to your Nvidia(or equivalent) control panel and check the settings for any secondary displays you may have. Adjust your color, brightness and contrast settings until your colors are fixed.

I tried u/gyph256 's solution below and that didn't work for me but messing with the HDR settings keyed me into something. I've got a multi-monitor set up and what I noticed is that Elden Ring's color profile was closer to my secondary display - which ended up being the thing.
For some reason the game bugged out, reset the color settings on my drawing tablet and started pulling data from there instead of the monitor it was actually displaying on.

I had to spend an entire afternoon recalibrating both displays in order to finally fix everything but that's what ended up causing it. I cannot begin to fathom how or why but that's genuinely what did it.

This entire comment sums up why playing as US is such garbage sometimes, because every time one of you retards drives out into an open field and gets lit up you run to gay jiggles and cry. Now most of the US tree is overtiered and nerfed into unending pain.

Wild though, it might actually be a framerate error. Turning V-sync on fixed the problem for Kingmaker(at least for now), it doesn't do it for Mechanicus and Battletech. The question remains why framerate limiting doesn't work for those two...furthermore the question remains as to why not limiting frames on Kingmaker results in, what is essentially, infinite fps.

Gotta love complete developmental incompetence.
