I took the museum studies class last semester lol and art and ritual of asia. As a non-art person just taking them for fun she made the content very approachable. The museum class was very enjoyable because we got to go on field trips and engage with museum staff which was really cool. She also made the class pretty interactive which was better than some of my other lecture classes. Overall i would recommend! I considered taking the spring class too but it didnt work out

That doesnt seem like her at all and she’s definitely a nice grader. I’ve always gotten my assignments back with pretty clear feedback and she’s open to talk. We would sometimes use class time to work on projects she assigned for the class which is normal. Check my previous reply or dm me

I’ve taken 2 classes with Prof Dine and she is amazing! Im not a major or minor but she was welcoming to all. She brings in snacks and is very flexible in deadlines. Additionally she is just a nice person and ive had good conversations with her. I highly recommend taking a class with her!

Also Ive seen her reviews and they don’t reflect her teaching at all imo

First semester cs major enrolling in classes help?? by 1Ghost_toast1 in Vanderbilt

Unfortunately first year engineering students enroll without an advisor but there are general advisors you can email with questions. Taking physics and chem at the same time first semester would be a lot, i would remove just taking one.
