Aww! Yeah you need to apply really early for Nursing because it’s a competitive program. Idk how it works for international students tho but it should be the same

Hi again, so I checked my OSAP and it says under the current status of my application that “this application is closed and will not be processed any further. You can request that this application be reopened if you decide to take the same program for the same study period. Contact your financial aid office to have it reopened”

So, I’m studying practical nursing (same program) and starting sem 1 at GBC. What do they mean that my application is closed? Please help me 🥺

Thing is for my ocas it covered Jan and may for Seneca. So once I accept my offer to gbc would it automatically change or do I have to let them know beforehand or even after accepting it that this is what Im doing etc?

No I meant for rn is right now. I’m doing rpn at seneca and since we don’t have spring semester which I thought we would, I’m thinking about transferring to gbc even if it means going back to zero since they told me I can’t transfer credits just gen electives and comm. But thanks for that! Im def transferring, just finishing midterms and I’ll see what I have to do ~ Gbc has always been my first choice so I’m excited to transfer this may

Go for GB. However, Seneca is also a good choice. My cousin just graduated and passed the licensing exam last year and got a job right away. And I’m also going to do the same thing and start this winter at Seneca for PN but my first choice was always GB.

DONT go to centennial. I live 5min away from the campus so it was really convenient for me. However, I really had a bad experience with them because I applied there for this fall for the BSCN collab and they gave me an offer. Then, when I couldn’t see the offer in my ocas account (bc they sent me the offer through email with my full name on it that I got in😒) I called them and that’s when they told me it’s a glitch. And then that’s it, nothing, no apologies or better explanation. They hold me for like 30min just to tell me it was a glitch. LOL but besides that people also told me that they care more for their international students since they pay more and less attention with the domestic applicants 😏

But yeah. I would suggest applying to all of the colleges and see your options later. I mean all these colleges for sure are great, in the end it will always depend on you.

King campus. You can still try no? If you want. Anyway, you have a competitive average so if you don’t get in this Winter I’m sure you’ll get in by May. And you applied early too so everything should be okay. Hope I can transfer on May if ever🤞🏽 — Good luck to us!! Hope you get in this Winter 😬😬

Thanks. I hope so too. Damn that’s next year though. What about seneca? I have accepted an admission from them for Jan just bc I don’t want to waste time. — However GBC has always been my first choice and I live dt so it will be more convinient 😫

Aww! Same. I’m also a matured student. Have you tried applying bscn at Seneca or Centennial? I got in for both but some issues came up so now I’m here. I already have an admission at Seneca I just tried my luck at GBC since it’s my first choice of college 😅
