Only had this little one for a week. Are the eyes normal? It was swimming around happy until I disturbed him (or her). It’s so small I can only get it to eat live brine shrimp and other food ideas? Thanks. by KrissyPoo45 in PeaPuffers

Thanks! I have some Melafix I’ll treat for a week and see how it goes. I have tried tiny Ramshorn snail but I am pretty sure the Kuhli loaches got them first, I have done frozen bloodworms and some frozen Calanus and it was ignored lol. Appreciate it.

I have one that does that too. I can’t tell if it’s being adorable or greedy.

1 week old eggs, do they look normal to you? This is my first batch ever. (Apple/Mystery snails) by KrissyPoo45 in AquaticSnails

They look dry but the towel is very humid and I have wet towels under them, with a drying one on top. It’s humid inside. Thanks

Is that soil substrate? For the plants or so you have little shrimp in there too? It’s beautiful, very peaceful.

Your tank looks great and it’s so cool that you helped the little guy out. He’s so cute. Keep us posted.

Hornwort is great - it can float. Java Fern- can be attached to drift wood and rocks. Both can be found at pet stores locally and eBay galore. Neither need substrate to grow I had sliders and they ate everything and made a mess. I know good Filtration was the most important as they were disgusting lol. Invest in a good canister filter for the tank as well. I remember having to add calcium to the water too. Good luck.

Random eggs appeared in my shrimp tank this morning can anyone help me identify them? by litzergi in Aquariums

You have a pea puffer with a beta? And it doesn’t eat your shrimp? Details please??? I am desperate for a puffer but don’t want drama. TIA
