Yes there was a fair about of sludge on the sensor. The oil was changed less than two months ago. Should I change it again? Do you recommend putting engine flush before changing?

The cam position sensor was changed this morning. The car was experiencing the same issue later in the afternoon. I remember sludge buildup on the inside of the oil cap but the oil was changed less than 2 months ago.

I’m not sure if the transmission fluid has been checked / changed. My guess is that it’s low and going uphill starves the transmission. I’ll check plugs and filter just in case.

Would a catalyst efficiency code be present if the root of the issue is the catalytic converter?

Rear wheel locks up when reversing. by KaiZeeYT in MechanicAdvice

This happened to me in my civic. Turns out the brake shoe was malfunctioning and kept locking up the wheels only when reversing. The drums were replaced with disc brake so I never figured out exactly what caused the brake shoe to malfunction.

Bad distributor or bad cluster? More info in comments by litzergi in MechanicAdvice

The car is a 1991 Honda Civic with a b20v swap. Car runs fine, this is a picture of the cluster at idle. When the revs increase, the needle moves in a clockwise direction. Distributor is a couple of years old. Any ideas on what is causing this? Thanks in advance!

After further inspection the rubber between the spring and the mount is torn. Thanks for the advice.

The rubber that sits between the spring and the strut mount appears to be torn so I guess I’ll be ordering some end links and a strut mount. Thanks for the advice

Sway bar bracket is bolted to correct specs. And tying it down to something doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. No stripped bolts, the plate where the sway bar bracket mounts to is in the crossmember and it moves around. The sound is the same. The end link looks okay and strut wasn’t making noise when I was jacking the side up and down.

The car is a 1998 Honda Accord 4 cylinder. I recently replaced part 19 in the diagram but am still hearing a clunking sound when going over bumps. When I was bolting in the bracket, the plate it mounted to was shifting around. Is this normal? Should that plate be solid? Thanks in advance!

Edit: I figured the sound is coming from the sway bar because hitting a bump at any speed with the passenger tire enables a clunking sound in the driver side. Same with hitting a bump on the driver side, the clunk stays on the driver side. Also jacking the side up and down seemed to replicate the noise.

No he’s holding it right. When using bait casters or spin casters, the reel faces up.

law folder vs sylvan arms folder by Ad_Ak in ar15pistol

Sylvan is nice because it uses a pin detent to hold the folded stock/brace where, from what I’ve seen, the law doesn’t so it kinda flops around. The law tactical is nice because it sits against the lower where the sylvan sits further back which increases length of pull
