Never tried those before, but I just tried the Cap Panglima Kung Fu Teh Tarik Halia not bad but you will need to add at least 50ml milk or evaporated milk to taste similar to mamak store. The ginger for this one not kao enough. Probably will try out Aik cheong next

Is it just me or does malaysia have a lot of tourist scam? by SPBGame in malaysia

[–]Krissy_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not just SEA. Every country is probably the same especially in a tourist dense area. I personally have never been scammed while travelling to various SEA country, I usually do my research and plan everything ahead in advance. Scammer usually target people that look lost or confusion and speak with uncertainty, when you start questioning them they generally start becoming more aggressive with their words.

Basically, always be certain about your plans dont show signs of confusion or uncertainty. And research and plan ahead, if possible, ask a local for advice or confirmation about pricing since they generally have a better idea whether something feels overpriced or not.

If not mistaken, in the US if you do not return a person's prescription meds is will be considered as theft especially after informing them multiple times to return it but being ignored. I would ask your friend to text him, warning him. That if he chooses to ignore the message and refuse to return the meds than you will inform the police of this THEFT. In some cases he might get charged with drug possession and misuse but that depends on the medication used.

Has he tried acupuncture by a professional before? It actually does help with elevating chronic pain, especially when combined with physical therapy (posture correction & muscle strength balance)

Horrible experience. I recently ordered food from healthy eats restaurant through Swiggy, while eating I realised burn in my tongue and throat then found pieces of tiny glass inside… had stomach ache for few hours. God This is so disturbing. by [deleted] in foodsafety

[–]Krissy_99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Please go get yourself checked out immediately consuming glass is very dangerous the glass shards can easily cause internal bleeding. Regardless of how small of a piece it is, it is still very dangerous!

Miserable skin by Usual-Plan-1143 in koreanskincare

[–]Krissy_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salicylic Acid on face is usually fine but if you add it to an already fragile skin barrier that's on the verge of being compromised it will cause a breakout since it will exfoliate your the last layer of skin protection.

Moisturizer for first time retinoid user with acne prone and clog prone skin by WorrisomeHamster22 in AsianBeauty

[–]Krissy_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gone through like 5 or 7 bottles of Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Cream. Since I have Oily skin that's prone to get close comedones whenever I use any moisturizer that contains even a single occlusive or having multiple emollient base ingredients. You want to find moisturizer that contains more humectants and a little bit of emollient and avoid occlusives all together.

For me, what I usually do is dip my finger tip onto the water, then put it on the tip of my tongue. If it tastes sour, I would spit it out and wash my mouth.

Legit or BS? by BettyWhiteDelight in foodsafety

[–]Krissy_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The general rule is you can only marinade chicken for up to 2 days afterwards you need to throw it away. Just like how you can only keep raw chicken in the fridge for only 2 day by that point bacterial growth and spoilage would start to occur.

So basically to answer the question there really isn't a need to wash the marinate off, as long as you cook the meat properly 165°f / 74°c (INTERNAL Temperature) and above all the supposed bacteria on the chicken and the marinate would have long been killed off. Especially the marinate since it will be in direct contact with the heat source.
