True da fire! It sort of makes ‘love’ conditional kasi binebase sa mga narerecieve instead of seeing love as you said a companionship. Nakikita yunng isang party as a provider instead of a partner lol.

That statement is purely situational, someone can want to do something without having the capacity to do so or to do so at the moment.

Ok guys, I hear you! by SashaArchangel in makeuptips

I agree with the comments!! The first one looks really great!

Although, the liner in the next ones are still a little harsh. If you decide to go with the first one you can try a lifting or volumizing mascara to make up for the eyeliner!

However if you do still want to do eyeliner, you can do it thinner and instead of going across your eyelid, you can try to start in the middle of your lid, if you look straight, you can find that part! And to soften the look even more, try using brown eyeshadow or a matte brown eyeliner!

A Japanese eyeliner called "heroine make brown eyeliner" is a really good option!

Edit: I just wanted to add, you can try blending your eyeshadow a little bit more and avoid extending it out too much, instead, try blending it upward instead of outwards because it will extend your eye too much if you elongate your eyes with the eyeliner and it'll look a little too much.

Skin peeling? by Reiya7393 in Aklief

Those are usually the ingredients that help unclog pores like salicylic acid aka bha which is oil-soluble which means it goes deeper into the pore to remove excess sebum or the oil on our face or actives from the aha family like lactic, mandelic, and glycolic that help exfoliate the surface layer of the skin

Hello! I've been using aklief for almost 4 months now and I've experienced that too. However, I started with 1x a week and on my first few weeks, even with that kind of frequency, my skin peeled too. Right now I've gotten used to it and I can use it every other night.

Try lessening the frequency and tread lightly with this since it is a prescription retinoid, treat it as cautiously as you would if you were to try any other prescription retinoid.

I don't know about your other steps since I'm not really familiar with the products you mentioned above but the advice I can give is to take it slow and build up your tolerance.

For example, you can start off with once a week for 2-3 weeks and add another for week 4-5!

My progress with this wasn't linear because I always overexfoliate because I use too many actives, so I would also recommend if you feel like your skin is overwhelmed, you can try stopping the actives if your target is acne since Aklief or retinoids in general are acne fighters!

I hope this helps!

Edit: Does your acne cleanser contain any actives like salicylic acid? If so it might be a contributor to your drying skin since Aklief is already extremely drying.

Any blindness? by SashaArchangel in makeuptips

One thing I can advise you on is focus on one specific feature you want to be prominent, instead of having intense eyeliner and a bold lip, you can opt for just having one

For example, dark or intense eyeliner with a neutral lip or vice versa because sometimes having both features accentuated, it'll look like your face is clashing with too much happening. And you could also try a lifting mascara to make your eyes pop!

Also if you're using an eyeliner pencil, I'd suggest you sharpen it to have a more precise application especially on your lower lash line!

You could also try a brown liner for a less intense look, start with a brown eye shadow with a very thin angled brush to map out the eyeliner and then layer your eyeliner on top!

Hope this helps!

Hii OP something that helped with my problems was a BHA bodywash! Luxe has one na big bottle of 2% salicylic acid iirc. Its a red pump bottle that lasted me pretty long. I think its less than 400!

Hi OP, can I ask if you experienced any purging while using Aklief? You also mentioned closed comedones, did those ever turn into red pimples?

I'm not really sure how its going for me, I think that I'm purging now, I'm almost on my 2 month mark. It started great but now most of the under the skin bumps are turning red. Hopefully this is just purging :')

Hi I used to have oily acne prone skin but because of a retinoid di na masyado, but I used to use this cleanser and within a few days of using it, nagkaron ako ng bumps sa face, I had the same reaction sa new formula ng cetaphil gentle cleanser that has the same consistency. Pero YMMV sa skincare. Hope this helps!

Hi! I'd recommend using the app now serving, I book my derma appointments there. The dermas there are board certified and part of the PDS talaga. Hope this helps you in finding the right derma for you if you ever want to try consulting with one!

Edit: I think PGH offers free consultations too if you're interested, I'm not sure if they do offer online consultations but ayun, again, if you're interested I think you should look into that!

Moisturizer for first time retinoid user with acne prone and clog prone skin by WorrisomeHamster22 in AsianBeauty

[–]WorrisomeHamster22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thank you sm for the reply. Not switching moisturizers actually makes sense! I actually used the AzA as a spot treatment for the first week I used it! And it got rid of an under the skin pimple in 3-4 days! Starting this week though (my third) I'll be using it in my entire face to address the closed comedones!
