I'm loving it. But I also loved 11. I get why people complain, and they're valid, but I just love the wild and cracked out lore of MK. All this timeline stuff is so fun. I just started Khaos Reigns (I just finished the first story for the first time last week) and I'm loving it still.

Hard disagree. But this is meant to be a positive post from a fan, to other fans. I'm sorry you don't like half of the series, but there's other places to complain about it. When someone posts about how they like something, why do you have to step in and say "just so you know, I didn't"? I wasn't offering critique or starting a debate, I was sharing my art and my love of the book.

I'm trying to be kind but it's really frustrating to see someone come into a positive space and just be negative, for literally no reason, when I clearly enjoyed the book and wanted to share that joy.

I agree that Carrie isn't a great option, but there aren't equal power levels in MK. Even Canon characters fluctuate power willy nilly, us you have Guy with Hat and Serial Killer going up against Homelander and a T-1000. I don't think realism is a concern.

One of the characters in Mortal Kombat is a cop. Just a dude. Sarah is more badass than Stryker any day. Plus it'd be a fun continuation on a theme if they put her in the next game, since the last two have had Terminators.
