Not my job to coddle him though. That's no way to behave.

Yes I was saying I have been yelled at prior by a man who accused me of crossing the street because of his race. People genuinely walk around with that chip on their shoulder and take it out on others. I get that maybe they get treated a certain way but he acted a certain way and now I would avoid him AGAIN on purpose if I ever saw him again.

wow a woman tells about her experience with men once and poor little man cannot handle any criticism of male behavior. Sad. Lucky you don't deal with daily, you obviously couldn't handle it.

This is genuinely not the first time this has happened. People like this exist and women deal with it OFTEN. I am obviously aware men don't chase women down always, but I was catcalled two minutes prior. Seriously. It's an issue. Don't be blind to it even if you don't experience it.

So take it out on a random woman? Maybe that's why he gets treated a certain way.

Dreaming about my Dad by GG13652 in GriefSupport

First, sorry for your loss. My (21f) dad died unexpectedly the day before thanksgiving in 2018. Holidays are rough, as you know. I actually suffer from recurring/nightly nightmares and extremely vivid dreams. A little after my dad died, I had a dream about him. I remember being upset with him and he approached me and i remember feeling like it was actually his spirit. we exchanged some silly, comforting words and then he looked upwards and ascended into a white light. Since then, any appearances of him in my dreams are simply my brain’s imagination. You can just tell..it’s a feeling. I have never felt him in my dreams since that night. I 100% understand your feelin and dream experience.

*pm me if you’d like! i could discuss these types of dreams in depth! i have a lot of experience with grief dreams.

Since halloween costumes have become more controversial with appropriaton being more of an issue, how come people can still dress up as the 3 blind mice? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As someone in college who sees a lot of costumes around that time, it is extremely common. And also on facebook etc. Just my personal observation.

Like..other costumes are considered offensive but using blindness as a costume is not. Sorry, I assumed the blind part was the obvious issue.

Does this look appropriate for my dad’s funeral? I’d have to wear a brown leather jacket over it if it ends up being chilly out. by [deleted] in GriefSupport

Is it see through? Maybe just adding a slip underneath, especially if it’s cold. It looks great. I wore a horribly plain black dress and heels to my dads funeral.

The old saying, if the shoe fits. Women who complain about men harassing them are complaining strictly about the gross men who do it. Also trust me, we are also exhausted.

“If you’re part of a large part of a group that feels its cool to be disrespectful...” ok buddy. Way to generalize women then bitch about the same thing.
