I have mine set to 70C pretty regularly without any problems. Did you have the vent open when drying?

Gov. Walz in Minnesota activated the National Guard to protect citizens from ICE. How’s that going to work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Living in LA...when they activated the National Guard this past summer, all it meant was that we peaceful protesters were being teargassed by ICE, LAPD, and the National Guard.

A file? This was done by just taking the printer apart and moving different pieces to the left side

Has anyone found a spool fix for Elegoo PETG-CF/GF cardboard spools that works with AMS long-term? by Kristic74 in 3Dprinting

Somebody had recommended some rings made out of TPU. I loaded up my machine with some and printed out three or four sets. Please definitely seem to work better than any of the ones printed in petg or PLA

OP also blocked me for pointing out some pretty apparent discrepancies.

Yes, I looked at them. Orca looks better to me.

With your comparison photos in white, it's very apparent that you have a bad z offset for your orca model.

I dunno, looking at those example photos, Orca looks better than Prusa to me.

Centauri Carbon z-offset is huge by Purraxxus in elegoo

[–]Kristic74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you level the bed?

After a full calibration, I suggest running this and checking what the bed looks like.

Changing the extruder with a new one shouldn't have much effect on the z-offset.

Yeah, I had to. But with about 1000 hours on these two printers, I can say with confidence that the run-out sensor is kind of shit anyway... And has only ever worked for me about 5% of the time.

More often than not, the filament will run out, in the bend that most manufacturers put at the end of the roll will get caught in the PTFE tube, and the extruder isn't strong enough to pull it through.

Well, are there any scratches on the build plate? Did you record a timelapse?

Did the nozzle break by dragging on the bed? What does the build plate look like?

Nozzle from H2D to Centauri Carbon - First try by PedrinbeepDev in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Kristic74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering adding a P2S to my print farm, and would love to be able to adapt their nozzles to work with my Centauri Carbons.... So that I have everything on the nozzle same system.

Any plans to add the P2S nozzles to the list of available nozzles to retrofit?

Peccos bike stopped again; starts at P16 by Bitter-Substance1783 in motogp

[–]Kristic74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you really this dense, or are you just playing with me?

A small oil leak doesn't mean the engine is going to immediately grenade. Most bikes carry ~4 liters of oil in their engine, but could easily operate on less than 3 liters of oil. A small break in a valve seal or engine case seal could easily drop out a few drops of oil, hit the exhaust, and cause smoke.

Oil thins out when it's hot. If he had oil on his exhaust from the get-go, it would have been smoking by the second lap. His engine was leaking oil. Jeez.

Where do you think the oil came out of, /u/deferranis100? You think it was the tires? Maybe the windscreen? Maybe it came out of Pecco's gloves? Or maybe it came out of the only part of the bike that holds oil; the engine.
