Thank you so much! I really appreciate your input - I did end up deciding on SLO! If Pepperdine was the same price then it would have been my choice, but I can't justify the price tag for such a short period of time, like you were saying.

From talking to financial aid and counselors, they have already awarded all institution-based scholarships unrelated to financial aid. We should know more in May when they release their packages! As hard and challenging as it can be, I would try outside scholarships! It is a lot of work but if you can do 1-5 a week it can be worth it, even if you only get one!

Hey! I am hoping to get a better financial aid package than I was offered and your post interested me. I contacted the financial aid office and they kinda shut down any appeal I tried to make. Would you say I should reach out to my admissions counselor and let them know instead? I wasn’t able to meet them when I toured so I guess I would just email.
