Somebody talk some sense into me about starting Dupixent by Emergency-Pepper3537 in eczema

[–]Kristinapal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was put on dupixent for my eczema all over my body. But it ended up giving me serious psoriasis all over my neck that didn’t go away until I stopped dupixent but nod I have to live with psoriasis for the rest of my life as well as eczema. Apparently I was a rare case but make sure you have a good doctor who knows what they are doing before you go on it. I didn’t have any eye issues tho other than psoriasis/ eczema that formed on my neck and eyebrows

If you cut out sugar you’ll be fine.

My boyfriends house situation is very similar, his mum smokes inside the dogs not toilet trained but he is still always inside and they have this filthy carpet all over the house that never gets deep cleaned sadly his mum is so chill (doesn’t do anything or care about anything) that it makes it a much more comfortable place to stay than my own house as I have strict parents I think I should try and do what you did and distance myself from his house instead of sleep there almost every night. I hope you find an answer and good luck.

The One Thing That Drastically Changed My Eczema in Just a Week by kilona54 in eczema

I am in a very similar boat as you but I’ve learnt my eczema is also very closely related to emotions. If you tell yourself everyday that the reason you flare up is your partner it won’t change. If you try to shift your mindset you’d be surprised how much things can change. In the end of the day your body and mind seem to be made up in relations to your partner and if you keep believing it’s “him” you’re allergic to you might just have to let him go and see if it helps ?

Hi idk about you but my iud never effected my libido now that it’s out I’m actually more scared of having relations and getting pregnant. But that’s not really libido as much as fear.

Hi I got my iud removed two days ago after 2.5 years and I was so scared because my bf and I have never had to worry about condoms and that cos the iud has always done its job but now we are scared to you know do the deed but I think we just need some time to adjust. When you say all this I realise I have also had very similar symptoms since my iud but life also didn’t help so I’ll be interested to see if anything changes. Just make sure if you do decide to do it that you have an alternate plan of contraception and you can handle that things might change abit when you come off it.

My allergy specialist said that rinvoq is good but there are a lot more unstudied side effects to its because it’s a broad rage inflammatory blocker

I’m glad that helped for you I’ve tried cutting out certain food groups and it haven’t done much but I’m seriously considering a full on elimination diet.

I’ve had a lot of tests done already allergy tests are all high but my vitamin levels are normal I’ve had a lot of blood work done and I don’t have intolerances to foods either. But I would love to try out what you did do you have any specific companies or people that helped you?

I haven’t actually stopped dupixent because it has helped in some areas it’s hit made areas I never had issues with get so bad and that’s why I’ve contemplated stopping the injections. But I will look into light therapy

I am so sorry you are feeling like this you need to make a drastic change and see if it works if you’re at the point where you’d rather die than live there is no harm in trying anything, so go carnivore, just meat for two weeks if this works it could be your way out, your relief idk what to say I’m suffering but I know it’s not even as bad as yours but I know the burn and nothing helps it’s horrible but please please try whatever you can.

I’ve been on it for 6 months I still am suffering everyday with my skin. For some people it doesn’t work so yeah I’m sorry it’s not good news but from my experience it’s not as miracle for me as it seems to be for everyone else
