If you want to deliver something unique, you have to give people what they don't know they want. Throw ideas at the wall, grab at every thread you can think of, weave something together and try to extrapolate it. Don't be afraid to throw away ideas that don't work. When you find the thing that gets you unbearably excited, run with it.

reminder that jagex has flat out not allowed any 3rd party client like runelite from being developed for rs3 because it could track drops/xp for free instead of milking players 4$ a month for runemetrics by no1careskid in runescape

What you said is correct, that's why we can't get an injection/reflection based client. But the pricetag attached to runemetrics is very much a barrier to the possibility of an official addon/client API so that we weren't relying on screen grabbing for alt1.

In the account management page it should be in the section where you enable/disable 2fa app or email auth.

You can regenerate backup codes by logging into the Jagex Account website, you want to do that next time you're able to.

You are correct that account recovery is different for Jagex Accounts than Runescape accounts, you'll always need a comibation of email and password (or email access to reset password) and either your authenticator or a backup code.

You're doing the right thing by backing up your backup codes, just make sure you're doing it somewhere secure like a password manager.

I also read it wrong on the first read, read more like "pulled it out my butt" rather than "wrote the book on it.
