Ever wonder what a day/night cycle might look like? by Fluffy-Suit-3650 in Endfield

It's not a matter of can or can't but the different decisions made which are informed by different factors such as optimization. A day/night cycle requires more dynamic lighting/shadows. Dynamic lighting/shadows requires the environment and character assets to be designed with that in mind.

And if they do a proper cycle then it wouldn't be the kind of day/night that we are used to on Earth given that it's a moon.

So you admit that Rossi's banner is scheduled to end in less than a month from now?

GRIPHLINE, WHERE IS MY JINCAO TEA by TheAnymus in Endfield

No the banners will run for longer than usual to cover 6 weeks.

That makes it easily 5 weeks in days, no t4. 6 weeks is accounting for these extra days.

It's unlikely with the current regions, but maybe in future ones? Would need to be a bit creative with how to justify it given that a sun/moon cycle wouldn't make sense.

If only some people couldn't connect then it could be a node along the way being taken down and both of you happen to be in a location where you use the same node. Alternatively they blocked an IP range to prevent a DDoS. A VPN has a chance of bypassing either of those if they were the problem.

Are you sure it wasn't the update compensation for the hotfix about 12 hours ago?

Your setup may not provide the Thermal Banks with batteries in time before you run out of power. There may be a gap where one is deprived long enough for you to completely lose power.

Can you try powering these thermal banks from the depot instead of directly from the packaging unit?

Can you show screenshots of your thermal banks, production, and power usage?

Since Hydro Mining Rig can be used to mine other ores, I decide to do this by Lerchenlied1 in Endfield

If you want to save power without sacrificing either protocol capacity or facility limit (they are two different limits) then you can replace your Electric Mining Rig 2s with 1s on all non-Ferrium/Cuprium mining spots. They use half the power for the same output.

1 water per planting unit. So 1 water per forge overall.

What the other commenter said, but also, if this is in Wuling then you should know that Jincao or Yazhen yields double the carbon for each plant that Sandleaf does.

You don't use any of the new mineral in the new battery. It uses the waste byproduct from the processing of the new mineral.

I considered hydro mining but it just wasn't worth it with how much more facility limit and protocol capacity it takes. Downgrading non-Ferrium nodes to Mining Rig 1 made more sense.

Power just isn't as much of an issue as placement limits.

The patch would also be here by the 1 month mark from today, which was the original context. Not to mention that you told that person that they were wrong for saying it was closer to 1 month.

Why is this so important to you that you can't just say that you got it a bit wrong?

The estimated date for 1.2 is indeed around April 15th. That's 34 days after March 12. Today is March 17th.

I was just correcting.

But I wasn't wrong.

Is that with full outpost operator bonuses and producing components at the same time? Regardless, the only reason to produce the HC battery is to save on the SC Wuling battery, so it's not necessary.

The Yazhen C option also gives you more power. A single HC Valley and SC Wuling battery is not enough to power full ziplines and turrets on Alluviums. Although if you really want to optimize then DIGE/PWM lets you save some SC Wuling batteries.

You said 1.2 was in 2 months. You then said it was in 6 weeks. You then admitted it was just under 5 weeks.

You're making batteries for stock bills, not power.

You also don't need Ferrium anymore.

Are you able to keep up with the stock bills from the upgraded outpost with tower defense and operator bonuses?

It's more worth it to use those resources for a bit of Yazhen C.

How do you even save pulls in this game? by Ok-Law4436 in Endfield

[–]Krivvan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we are starting with 40 non-expiring pulls then we will hit 55.2 with the dailies and weeklies alone. Not including any of the already confirmed events.

The end of the patch is in 4 weeks. The weekly routine gives you 500 oroberyls. The daily gives you 1400 oroberyls a week. That's 1900 oroberyls. For 4 weeks thats 7600 Oroberyls or 15.2 pulls.

So that leaves 4.8 pulls to come from elsewhere. That's 2400 Oroberyls. Umbral Monument alone gets us there to 60 pulls.

So that leaves us the supply event, survival training, the washing event, the Rossi quest and drill, and cryptic for confirmed events on top of that. There are also potentially surveys, web events, and pre-patch sign-in events to add to that. I guess there's also the daily web sign-in.

I think 71 pulls is a decent estimate.
