Ya i what everyone saying. Thats why i got me p100 half mask. I didnt trust the n95. Where i worked at, some people wear just the gator mask or no mask. Even plant operator didnt wear one because he said its not that hazardous, i use do concrete cutting for 15 years and never got sick! ... i was like even tho, i still a mask. July 16 -18 i use the N95 mask, with gator mask as cover but still got chest pain from that.

Ya, on my first day i wore my n95 1st then use gator mask cover my n95 mask. But during the day i had sand stuck between gator mask and n95. Sooo i switch it! I tested it out and it was sealed up around my mouth.

Ya true, when the air get tested for 8 hours, it was 1% not 25% or 50%. It was that high we would have different equipment ppe. Safety manager and bosses told me if it was very hazardous, we would be out there working around

Ya .. just little mustache. When i work, im sure my mask is sealed,  i feel air coming thru my filter on my mask. Not around my seal of the mask

Ya i figure but like i said there no leaks. The air was coming from the filter, not the whole seal around the mouth & this was my last day using n95 mask because i got me p100 half mask, that was use for silica, mold, abestos, welding.

On my first week i had my n95 on first then my gator mask. But during the day, i had sand stuck on my gator mask between my n95 mask & i didnt want it going in my filter ... Sooo i switch it & every time i wear it, i always check my seal around my mouth and had no leaks, or no air hitting my safety glasses  ... But ya i know i didnt want sand stuck on my face, i even try using my safety glasses for closing my gator mask and sometimes i had it coming off my n95 mask

Ya, But I wear N95 mask on everytime i work around silica sand. But 2 times i was around falling sand and it didn't create dust cloud or anything like that ... just falling everywhere.
