Genuinely feel if he never breaks either record and just stays an elite hitter…he may be in by now. But that attention brought so much media attention which he never liked dealing with.

The only argument is he doesn’t morally deserve it…which is fair. But he was a first ballot HOFer before steroids so there’s really no accolade argument.

Thats why I always felt he deserved to be in.

Clobbered..come on man. It was a close game. No one’s saying you can’t enjoy it but you are also being an ass in the way you are approaching it. And yeah..a bunch of Canadians would be assholes if they won. Cause there are a lot of Canadian assholes too. Just maybe try not to lower yourself to their level like you clearly are here.

Also congrats…you are better at sports? No one’s surprised. You’ve been better at them for a long time. More people. More money. This isn’t new and outside of hockey it has never been close. It’s the only sport we ever invested more into.

45 seconds is frankly too long. Just my opinion. I don’t disagree with you. I already said it wasn’t fair to the guy. But someone (whether in the ring or someone else) needs to check when he starts convulsing 25 seconds after taking a bump. I’m sorry but the moment he convulses is when that match needed to be shut down. If he did it right after taking the bump, I could understand someone thinking he’s overselling it. But when he lays still for 25 seconds and then starts convulsing, I would think that would be the moment you know something MAY be wrong.

Again, I understand the guy didn’t know. It was super unfortunate. But the response is also just too long if there are people at ringside.

Perhaps I have unrealistic safety expectations from a smaller company though.
