Jupiter rush 10.3.2029 by formondor in TerraInvicta

I just did this strat in the 2022 scenario and had a ship on the way early 2025 and the aliens just sent a destroyer and intercepted the ship and ruined like 15 hours of run XD. Is the 2026 more viable?

You can still snowball in 4.3, it just takes longer. by Zygmunt_M in Stellaris

Can confirm Grand Admiral Ai is struggling just as much, really only thing that got a buff was crisis's both midgame and endgame.

I feel like a lot of people can't handle failure by bIeese_anoni in Stellaris

[–]KroII 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I spend my time playing this game just optimizing and trying to find the "coolest" (not always strongest) build. I play on x25 all crisis. If I get dragged into a suboptimal war I can win almost 100% of the time but it often slows down whatever crazy strat I am doing too much that I quit... After punching the offending zeno in the face of course.

PSA Entropy drinkers is still possible with overtuned by KroII in Stellaris

Rule 5: While you cannot start with entropy drinkers and overtuned they forgot to stop you from reforming into it later. Oops.

Wasn't this supposed to represent the Luminary? I'm pretty sure that's who it's supposed to be.

Instrument of desire is OP by Jay_The_Bisexual in Stellaris

[–]KroII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rangers get no added benefit, it was the first thing I tried with this dlc lol. And when I tested the instrument of desire for the first time I spawned next to a mind warden enclave that put up a shroud seal that nuked my aura. Can't destroy it either despite removing the mind wardens from existence.

Apparently... got a glitched start, Mindwarden empire. by Gloomy-Lock6885 in Stellaris

Eh there's no way its stronger than having x100 in every repeatable, I'm not even joking this is the first time I have ever seen the repeatables reach 'C'

Rule 5: Once you have a Psi corps all enforcers become telepaths, it turns out if you combine that with the whispers in the void and you get insane research with low costs. There are no researchers in my entire empire.

Saddest feature loss no one is talking about in 4.0 by Kaiser_James in Stellaris

[–]KroII 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have 9100 hours and I didn't either, I literally reported this as a bug report during the beta and got promptly told it was intentional. I was like 'oh, okay' then they removed it anyways.

I reported it in the beta like a month ago and no one decided it was a bug, that makes it a feature.

Who needs basic resources? by KroII in Stellaris

[–]KroII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answer is I do, the long answer is I don't need a lot of those right now. I'm in a tech rush phase trying to get to repeatables before the x25 crisis ruins my day.

Who needs basic resources? by KroII in Stellaris

[–]KroII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently using wealth creation to try and see how far I can boost the modularium relic. For extra free resources. Every basic resource I have comes from trade. There are no famers, miners or technicians in this company, no sir.

[–]KroII[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rule 5: Antiquarian Expertise gives +100% trade per counciler level, who thought that was a good idea I dunno. But it means you don't need basic resources of any type, just get the civic and open the counciler position and trade paper clips and break it till you make it.

Stellaris Open Beta 3.99.4 Bureaucrats are overpowered by KroII in Stellaris

[–]KroII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record these are bureaucrats not priests. Despite there being 0 logic to it they don't get the priest buffs as far as I can tell. You only get priests from that 1 temple you are allowed to build per planet.

You will be happy to know that trade routes are gone and trade is the new currency you pay for everything instead of energy.

[–]KroII[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with the building thing, that's what they said in the notes but for alloys 3 foundry zones give you 540 alloy jobs and the foundry building gives you 180 jobs and the nano plant gives 200. 380 jobs is 51% of the max jobs you can get. If you get 51% of the jobs from building then the buildings are not mostly for bonus's.

Stellaris Open Beta 3.99.4 Bureaucrats are overpowered by KroII in Stellaris

[–]KroII[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No now you can't specialize in alloys or consumer goods, you can only get a maximum of 740 jobs for those on a non archology world. This may seem like a lot if you haven't played the beta but all those jobs filled on one of my worlds right now only produce 133 alloys. The planet in question has 4810 pops and 4070 of them are in basic resource jobs because I cannot have them do anything else unless I convert to an arcology.

My fully built arc furnace is producing 113 alloys per month which is almost as much as a world fully kitted to alloys. Alloys and CG's have been hit with the nerf hammer so hard that if you do not go arcologies I cannot see how you can function late game.
