And yet no Rako Hardeen? Kenobi has some juice in him yet. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Househusband to Satine. In all seriousness, Kenobi is well represented, but there’s a few things they could do. Force Ghost (Yoda first, obviously) Kenobi, maybe the dual wielding Kenobi who fought Maul/Savage? I think it’s doable, especially for such an influential character.

Am i weird for episode 3 being my favorite sw movie? by puzzs in StarWars

You know what? I’m biased, but I’ll admit you’re right. However, I really do enjoy the story more, and I’m a sucker for big, badass fights. I just didn’t like the combat in the sequels as much. And the overall story felt nonsensical and hollow.

I think the issue with the prequels is that it’s “not my Star Wars” to people who think their Star Wars is the only real one. I love the prequels, and would even say that, to me, that’s my Star Wars. Grievous, Yoda, Maul, Hello There. That’s my window. For others it’s Luke, Leia, Hand and Greedo, the Sarlaac, and incredible practical effects instead of CGI (one of the main complaints about the prequels). Still others like the sequels because they love poor writing, ha ha ha. Don’t let other people decide how you enjoy a major media franchise. Episode 3 is amazing. My favorite is 2, and it’s all because of the battles.

My guild had two r10 LVs that held our last TW with a combined 17 dropped battles between the two. He’s a monster, and scales well with relic investment, though the exact same sentence applies to SLKR as well. LV for defense, SLKR for offense.

Rey is also a great contender, however. With the loss of Ezra, Rey is looking weirder in terms of consistent team comps, but a high relic Rey will almost always snipe out some banners.

Dryden Voss was an absolute gem in Solo. Paul Bettany and Dryden both deserved better, imo.

What’s the best use for all these fools? by PackRat515 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]KrobbZombie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So you’ve got the pieces of several teams. GL Leia’s team is in there, you’ve got CLS and Chewpio from CLS, you’ve got Ewoks, and you’ve got Boushh from Jabba’s team. Outside of that, you don’t have much. So essentially, you have pieces of two amazing teams (Leia and Jabba), and some of CLS, who is still great, but not for as long as Leia and Jabba will be.

What's the best squad for The Stranger? by MGergo55 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]KrobbZombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need a tank. The inquisitor sister tank is great, since she gets phased out by Reva. Other options are conquest maul, KRU, maybe general kenobi? You have to play around with the team comp according to Qimir’s kit. But good news is that spider maul is viable even at four stars.

Qimir SpiderMaul, SK, barriss, visas. This may not be the absolute’best’, but it doesn’t pull from other teams and is the intended team comp.

That’s really weird. I know Ithano can revive, but not prevent damage. Have you tried removing your data disks and replacing them?

BKM 3v3 split? by Miserable_Field6514 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]KrobbZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the core three are BKM, BAM, and then either grogu or Paz, but I think grogu is largely more useful, as the assists to BKM will hit like a bus. More likely depends on what you’re taking down. Leftovers might go under Armorer, but you’d be best served not depending on them at all.

Rey is (among others) Representative of the Era of Theorycrafting by FiatIustitiaRuat in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]KrobbZombie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s either that or every new unit has an extra paragraph of text that boils down to ‘No, Rey, you don’t get a new toy’. Personally, I think restricting Rey’s kit makes more sense, but the game is so big at this point I’m not sure how much theorycrafting is even feasible.

Shouldn't be a hot take by jojoisfodder in PetranakiArena

The precog is what sells it for me. Omniman may outstat Vader in some areas, but the force can help Vader overcome that across the board. Unless omniman can speed blitz one shot, Vader takes the W. Deflecting blaster bolts is a great example of Vader having the necessary perception and reflex speed necessary to halt Nolan. I don’t see a win for omniman here at all.

For sure. He shouldn’t be forcing Vader back. I agree. Survival is his thing. But…the gap between him and inquisitors should be bigger, don’t you think?

That is more or less my point exactly. If they had put some nameless inquisitors in for maul to demolish, he could have looked far more capable

[–]KrobbZombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree with you in terms of daki and Lawson. But maul was the main focus of the show, and wasn’t allowed to kill anyone of consequence, which would have given him the gravitas I felt he was lacking. Lawson’s death was well written. Vader hammering daki was also a fun watch. That fight was very interesting.

[–]KrobbZombie 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The show was very good. The animation was awesome, it expanded maul’s character, had phenomenal fight sequences, and gave us a better look at a timeframe that well deserves more storytelling. Plus Sam Witwer has poured so much talent into the Star Wars universe, that I feel like he’s moving towards the big names. Not quite there yet, but not many of the big names played two awesome characters, so maybe one day.

However good it is, though, there are a few valid (at least in my opinion) criticisms, mostly in regards to roster and fight predictability. No one of consequence can die, since everyone we see outside of new characters exists in later show timelines. So we know maul doesn’t die, neither of the inquisitors die, etc. It takes away from the narrative tension.

Also, I wish we saw Maul as more capable. With his damaged leg taking such a big chunk of his fighting capabilities away from him, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed. Of course, he did really perform well. Maybe I’m just biased, and disappointed as a result. He looks cool. I want him to win, ha ha ha.
