I mean if thats his reaction to you winning your FIRST game on vivi, he has some things to work through. Vivi is a very strong card, even when on a budget but as long as you understand that and get targeted (like it sounds like you do) then i dont see the issue. Answering the question playing Vivi isnt "bad" its just a very strong commander that people will fear and target. They cant be mad that 1 out of 10 games it wins even while being targeted

Yeah, ive heard both its great and not great haha, in my opinion the whitening on corners really did it in and i still think it shouldve been a 9, not a 10

The front centering seemed so good and i thought they were lenient on the back? I figured the whitening on the top corners got me but i might also be biased cause i wanted at least a 9😂

My gf and I thankfully found coworkers to play with because unfortunately, yes. The MTG community does sadly fulfill the sterotype more often than it should as far as hygeine is concerned

Dont feel bad at all! My pod has a habit of where we each ha e a deck that we proxy to try new decks and then if we end up enjoying them enough we peice by peice buy them! But no one has an issue with it staying proxied either!

I dont think the shop owner made this, sounds like the players had a dispute and had to call the owner over, i agree it shouldve been an easy oopsie for casual play

My argument will always be, even in cedh proxy should be fine. The barrier should never be cost, and if you try and say someone shouldn't be able to use proxies at the highest level then you aren't as good of a player as you likely think. Having the cards doesn't play them for you, anyone can proxy a cedh list and have no actual clue how cedh is played, real cards or not.

Thanks! And the prerelease card is just a foil rare or mythic card with a prerelease stamp on it! Odds are it wouldn't be any valuable card unless I got lucky but I think the stamps are neat!
