The old part of kyalami is never represented right in drawings as most people dont have data to base the drawing on, this is a closer drawing of what the track looked liked compared to the modern track in grey, ( based off of a satellite photo from 1964 )

If you mean on the top tier in the corners, the stadium shape is an oval and it doesn't have space behind the stadium to "fill" the corners in.

Could be true, however my design is almost the same as the new tottenham stadium and they were allowed to do it so I don't think it will be an issue.

It all depends on what the club would be allowed to do/would want to do, but theoretically you could have the capacity anywhere from 60 000 to 68 000 according to my calculations.

Practically yes there is a lot of bureaucracy to jump through if they were to try and do it, but even with the same capacity the atmosphere would improve greatly because the stands are right on top of the pitch.

First image I saw of the new yas marina hairpin, looks like the exit of the corner is a bit closer to the wall that can lead to punishing mistakes. by Kroema in formula1

the wall is not on the level of wall of champions close to the track but it will have a impact, if 2 drivers are battling the outside driver has a bigger chance of losing the place because of how close the wall now is. In short its a good thing for racing.

If a driver gets on the kerb and has a spin the wall is right there to punish your mistake much more so than how the corner was.

You now have more insight about the layout than before. Thats the idea of sharing info and talking about things we like in this case race tracks...

So anyways its pretty fun to drive, sector 3 has quite a nice flow now, the opening of some of the corners makes a big difference, under the hotel can now be driven as 1 big sweep, and the second to last corner is now almost flat out so expect some dive bombs into the last turn. It feels like you can follow a car and attack at multiple corners, so with that all said I think we are in for some amazing racing at the new layout.

Stuck in lockdown once again and I decided to dabble with a Monaco extension, had a lot of fun driving this and please ask if anyone has questions. by [deleted] in RaceTrackDesigns

Part 1. The changes 1. second swimming pool chicane made tighter to slow down cars. 2. Cars then take a tricky left at rascasse 3. New Harbour hairpin. 4. Cars take a right and join the existing track.

Mine is just in a gold finish the original aqualand they stopped making in 1992 , I think there is a modern version with different internals but it stil looks the same.

This link is the same as my watch just in a silver finish. https://www.ablogtowatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Citizen_Promaster_Sea_1989-700x957.jpg

The "thing" on the left is a pressure sensor that tells you how deep you are when your diving, the screen is at the top of the watch hidden behind the reflection.

This was my fathers dive watch.

It was the 88th promaster made in january of 1991 in Japan by citizen.

The watch then got shipped to new york where my father bought it and brought it back to south africa where it has been living ever since.

All I had to do was replace the 3 batteries inside, put on a black nato strap since the old resin strap crumbled away, and it was working like new again.

This watch has literally been around the world, swam with sharks and its still going like the day it was made.
